I chose this hotel due to the reviews on customer service. We flew from 2 time zones away & hadn't slept the night before. We arrived at 12:30 pm & I asked if there was any way we could check in early. Harmony informed me that the rooms are not required to be available until 3pm. (which I knew) If she would have asked for my phone # & offered to text me when a room was available, that would have been 5 star service! Instead, I just received a lecture. Around 1:30 I was really getting sick from lack of sleep & called again and spoke with Manager Paul. He offered to move some things around & would be able to accommodate us. Awesome! Unfortunately, the next morning, I was awoken to very loud pounding near our room for 45 minutes & completely woke us up. I mentioned it, thinking it was work on the elevator that was on the other side, but was told by Harmony they had no idea what I was talking about. (I didn't lie!!!) The elevator was not working properly when we got there--skipping floors & taking extremely long to get to a different floor. I would have called, but the room phone wasn't working & I didn't want to wake up enough to google the phone #. The first night, we went to an expensive restaurant & put the leftovers in the fridge (one of the amenities important to me) The next afternoon, we found out the fridge was unplugged. Food no good. After the 2nd day, our trash can was full & towels used. I didn't know they didn't come into your room to clean on a multi day stay. I asked for someone to come in and clean & was told all they would do is bring fresh towels. And they were right! Wastebasket left overflowing, Etc. Good thing we were neat. I asked the front desk clerk to have the Manager get in touch with me---he hasn't yet. A very lousy experience. I happen to review travel experiences and was going to give until tomorrow for the Manager to contact me in case there were extenuating circumstances I was unaware of. I would love to hear back from someone! The room rate wasn't important to me---the service was & was the reason this hotel was chosen.
