We had takeaway fish and chips tonight. And the food was absolutely top notch. Always friendly staff and the fish was a big portion and cooked to perfection. And on top of that - very good price. Thrilled to have such a great pub/deli/shop so close.

Wow what a place to stay . A lot of character. The owners and staff are so friendly. The room was comfortable and clean and the food......this is really good. Homecooked, plenty to eat and beautiful to taste. The breakfast is to die for. Well worth a visit .

Lovely, cosy little place with a characterful and comfortable king room, gorgeous fireplaces and ambiance, good music, brilliant staff/owners (Thanks Alice and Louise!), great drinks and truly very delicious food. Impeccable breakfast. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed for one night in this lovely old pub. Our room was quite large with a massive open fireplace. Bed was comfy, bathroom was small but adequate with a powerful shower. The pub is lovely with low ceilings, 2 large fireplaces, nicely furnished with a good bar area. We enjoyed our stay.

Dear Libby and Peter, and dear all who will read our notes, We spent 5 days in Stroud in the house that welcomed us, The Couch House --- Bed and Breakfast with hosts Libby and Peter Rolls. Unbelievable kindness and welcome awaited us on July 18, 2022. In the house that is so clean, peaceful, and orderly that it meets absolutely all the needs of the guests. An abundant and beautifully served breakfast awaited us every morning exclusively at the time that we, as guests, determined. Bright linens and bathrooms made us smile and feel welcome. On the last day of our stay, due to leaving the accommodation very early, Libby left us a rich breakfast and lunch, which we ate with pleasure on the way to Serbia. We would like to come to Libby's place again, and to all of you who are coming to this area of the UK (Stroud, Glos) we warmly and sincerely recommend The Coach House - Bed and breakfast accommodation.
