We came back on 10th August for our third visit, this time we stayed a week in room 60 which is gorgeous (same room every time as it's so nice, Junior hot tub suite). This is our favourite place to go, the grounds and buildings are beautiful. The staff are all so nice and Lilly and Marios remembered us from our previous two visits and it was lovely to chat to them again. We also met some lovely new people including Polly and Laura who were so much fun to chat to whenever we were in the bar lounge (please tell them the Hamburglars said hi!!!!). They couldn't have made us feel more welcome, the lady from housekeeping that sorted our room was also so nice (sorry didn't get her name). We didn't use the gym this time as we joined Snap in Warminster for the week but we did use the pool and the spa facilities which are great. The outdoor pool is a bit tired now but I know there are lots of lovely plans in hand for that. Thoroughly recommend a stroll to Bishopstrow Church which is nearby (you can get to it via the River Garden), its beautiful inside.

We had the best time at the Bishopstrow Hotel. It began with the incredibly friendly and welcoming front desk staff and it continued with everyone else we met there. The food was so good we ate all of our dinners there for the five days we stayed. The pool was warm and my 11 year old loved coming home to it after a days adventure. This was a huge highlight of our trip to England. Longleat House nearby and Stonehenge not too far away were plusses as well. The grounds were beautiful and there were nice walks into the town and around. I miss this place and hope to return someday soon!

From the warm welcome, excellent service and beautifully prepared, presented dishes with fresh local ingredients, to a stroll around the gardens & art installations - we could not have enjoyed a Sunday lunch more!

What a gem of a place! The grounds are plenty and peaceful. We were kindly upgraded to a Garden Suite with private hot tub which was such a delightful surprise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The other guests were all so friendly and chatty too. It felt like a real treat of an escape. The cocktails were delicious as was the food. And our Labrador had a fabulous time and was very welcome. The only downside was the wasp infestation meaning it was impossible to eat outside on the terrace but I heard from another guest that the hotel was going to address it. So fingers crossed that gets sorted. All in all an amazing trip away. We will definitely go back!

Just returned from a 4 day luxury break at the Bishopstrow hotel in Warminster me and my mum had a fantastic stay in a hot tub suite which was fabulous everything we needed and more in our room a indoor and heated outdoor pool both great meet some wonderful guests who were so friendly all the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble can’t mention all the names because everyone was so great but must mention John + Marius who helped my mum so much.The surrounding gardens our so lovely and made to look so nice thanks to all the team you look after them.We will be returning as soon as possible .

Visited for an afternoon spa session followed by afternoon tea. It’s quite outdoorsy so the good weather was a bonus, hot (30deg) and sunny. Inside there is a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, heated pool, outside there is a sauna, a couple of hot tubs, heated pool and sun loungers. The grounds and flower boards were beautifully kept (June) and so lovely to look at. All was clean and well kept. The ladies changing rooms are pretty small. Large lockers, shower/changing cubicles and toilets, mirrors and hairdryers. Afternoon tea was a little bit of a let down. We were told to go over for our afternoon tea at 4pm, so we did. Initially staff were prompt in laying the table, showing us the set afternoon tea menu, talking through any dietary restrictions and asking us what we’d like to drink, the wait for the food was in my opinion much too long, we waited over an hour for 4 mini cakes, 2 scones, 4 mini sandwiches each. The bread felt like it had been out for some time and the scones were like rocks. The venue and surrounding gardens are stunning. I would go again but would hope that table service was quicker and avoid the afternoon tea.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! This is a beautiful property, a gem of an addition to the Hilton portfolio. Many of the guest room are located in the manor house. It has so much character, no two rooms are alike. And just as you’d expect of a house converted to a hotel, there’s no lift. We had a room on the third floor, gorgeous interior, but it was a devil with the large suitcase up the second narrower flight of stairs. Although, I would do it again just to stay here, I might take advantage of the staff’s offer of assistance The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll arrange for the use of wellies or any equipment needed for numerous games on the expansive lawn. While we didn’t partake of the spa, it is available and on-site. However, we can attest that the food and beverages are top notch. They have embraced the farm to table concept with tasty results. While I’m not a Gin drinker, I did overhear a guest exclaim about the fabulous private label available especially for Bishopstrow guests. Our stay was unique and memorable. We would happily stay here again!!

Catered to diary requirements - wonderful spa and afternoon tea experience A wonderful afternoon in the spa. The staff were very helpful and professional. The spa was clean snd welcoming. We used the outside sauna, pool & hot tub, then the indoor pool, steam room & hot tub. We finished off laying in the sun round the outside pool. At the point of booking, I contacted the hotel to see if they could cater for dairy and gluten free. They were able to cater for this as long as they know in advance. This in itself was great to hear, but they surpassed my expectations. We had afternoon tea. One standard and one GF & DF. There were 4 different sandwiches, GF/DF scones with jam and DF cream, plus a selection of sweet treats and fruit. It was a very enjoyable experience and the food was delicious. We finished our afternoon with a cocktail in the garden.

We were given a voucher from a family member for Christmas so we thought why not.. Wow - we have to book a weekend get away here..Firstly, the setting is stunning as is the house as is the staff. The dining experience absolutely first class, couldn’t fault one thing apart from they forgot our chips. Never mind the meal didn’t miss them as it was sooooo good…❤️
