We stayed in Middleton lodge, and it was brilliant. Big room with modern bathroom. The bed was really comfortable with lots of big pillows. Spare blankets in the cupboard, and two lovely soft bath robes in the bathroom. We stayed for three nights and the staff were super helpful and kind. The hotels in a great location with lots of parking. We will definitely be back to explore the Gower more.

This was our first stay at the hotel and it hopefully won’t be our last! The staff and Linda, the owner were all so friendly and helpful - we felt very well looked after. We stayed in one of the lodges which gave us a good size room and a large ensuite - all clean and comfortable. There was also a small patio at the front to catch the evening sun. Breakfast was included and just what we needed! We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant on 6 of our 7 evenings and such was the menu choice we were able to have something different each day, all delicious and very good value. The location is great for all the Gower has to offer. We would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant, Monroe's.

Fantastic night away, spotlessly clean, lovely staff, big rooms. Food in the restaurant was excellent and well priced as were drinks. Breakfast was superb too. All in all highly recommended and we’ll definitely be going back.

My wife and I had a disappointing stay for one night - our room's bathroom floor was sodden and slippery , the TV had no signal , and the outside door was very difficult to lock. Our Dinner was average - too large portions, having requested small , and staters had an abundance of lettuce. Bacon at breakfast had been pre cooked and heated up. Waitress in the evening was charming and helpful .Waitress at breakfast was off hand. Receptionist , on leaving , did not like being informed of hotel's inadequacies.

It's located down a narrow lane in a very pretty area. Plenty of free parking. We had one of the lodge rooms which was very comfortable with two nice chairs for relaxing. We had a nice walk before dinner exploring the grounds of the nearby church. Dinner was wonderful and beautifully served.

Had another great meal and stay over had many good nights here food was excellent as allways and room was lovely as ever and great service from the staff would highly recommend the place to stay and we have more stays here booked the hotel is in a nice quiet location for relaxing

Attractive, clean and well maintained. However, the cooked breakfasts were, we believe, heated up as the bacon was like leather.Most of the staff were incredible although on one occasion my husbands beer was 1/3 froth as poured incorrectly. His request that this be a full beer was met by the blonde bar lady with a less than gracious response. All the other staff were lovely. Their evening spring time menu was the same every night with no 'specials' and we would often find our way to one of the local pubs which had more to offer..
