Absolutely spotlessly clean. Room was wonderfully spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Perfect for short stays, price was excellent considering others in the area. Would highly recommend.

A very pleasant 2 night stay booked through Travelzoo. Lovely room comfy bed. No noise from the nearby main road. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff. Will definitely syay . The hotel is part of the Auckland Project, which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed.

We stayed for two nights and would have given our stay 5 stars but for a poor evening meal. The accommodation was spacious, like new in fact with ample hanging space for two nights. The bathroom had a separate shower and was spotlessly clean. There was tea/ coffee facilities in the room. There was ample choice on the continental and hot food at breakfast which was good. Dinner was poor. Our main course was brought out before our starter. Although the mains were returned to the kitchen while our starters were served we were unconvinced our mains were freshly cooked when they reappeared.

One night stay at the Park Head Hotel
We stayed here one night while visiting friends. Easy check in and friendly staff, the superior courtyard room was well equipped,clean and modern. I found the bed firm which was uncomfortable for me as I prefer a softer mattress. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked, delicious 😋 would recommend.
