we were very pleased with our couple days at the Carrick. We had reserved 203, but got an upgrade to 201, which was HUGE! Since it was just the two of us, we never went upstairs to those two bedrooms & bath. The downstairs part of this suite was really big - two living rooms, dining room & open plan kitchen, good size bath, big bedroom with a king and the best part was the deck, which was the entire front of the Hotel! Amazing views & we sat out there quite a bit - the fairy lights were a nice touch. It's true that if you look hard enough, there's still some things that still need fixing up, but not a deal breaker for us - we were very comfortable. Enjoyed the snacks & drinks daily, felt we got our money's worth there too! The vibe here really suited us, so we hope to be back!

Unique Hotel in the centre of Bisbee. Many shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel room was spacious and well appointed although a little tired and in need of decorating, likewise the public spaces of the hotel. The free snacks and drinks are a nice touch.

We were looking forward to this refreshed suites hotel and as per the photos, the rooms are interesting, huge and comfortable. We had the next to the smallest room at 959 SF - Room 101. Heres the highs and lows: Highs: 1. Location was perfect and the old period building is fantastic. Its right in the center of town and provides easy access to the shops and restaurants. And the parking availability is nice but costs extra. However, there is a public parking across the street, but could be hard to find a space on weekends. 2. The variety of rooms is great and most have deck terraces altho they are on the south side and mostly unusable on hot days except in the morning and evenings. Most rooms sleep 4 people and up.. room sizes vary from 950 sf to over 1500 sf. so If you have family to accommodate, you can conceivably do several in one room. The "mid-century' modern take was fun but inconsistent. The window A/C unit work ok but it was a hot nite and they're just a bit too loud - we put the fan on the lowest setting and hit the "energy saver" button in the units to minimize the sound a bit. All units have a full kitchen with coffer maker, all the utensils, and pots/pans needed. 3. Staff is friendly and helpful and always have a smile. 4. The bed is very comfortable. 5.The hotel provides snacks in the main check in lobby and the elevator lobby for free which is nice when you head out to explore or return to relax. 6. Our room had a "mid-Century moderne" them which was fun - but inconsistent. The master bedroom held the theme best, with the living room a close second. But the second bedroom did follow thru with the theme at all, Lows: 1. Not Handicapped Accessible due to several stairs between the street and the lobby. They are supposedly working on that from what we were told. Many of the rooms have internal steps as well. 2. The general look of the room is good but when you look closer, there is just some annoying and sloppy work. For instance, mismatched paint colors and finishes on the same wall - plat paint in one area and semi-gloss for a patched up area on the same wall. this was noticeable in several areas. How hard is it to keep track of paints and make sure you buy the same color and finish each time? 3. Ceiling can lights that have bulbs that are too large for the can and tend out past the accent ring - looks silly . Also, I the bedroom, the same can ceiling lights had smaller bulbs, but no surrounds, exposing the edge of the can and the gap between that and the ceiling. Not something you can miss or accept if youre trying to do a quality facility. they should be spending a bit extra for LED lights to reduce electricity costs and fit the fixtures better. 4. Theres a working record player, but no records. Is it for visual ambiance only? Or do we need to go into shops and buy some? 5. The bathroom definitely needs work - the sink faucet is visibly old and not cleaned or polished as often as needed (if at al

We stayed in the Cowgirl Suite 203. The suite was adorable, clean, and comfy. It is 2 bedrooms, we used the hall room to store luggage and then slept in the shared living / master suite which is also open to the kitchen. This gave the space a great studio feel, very relaxing and connected. There are some stairs/levels (2 up into the kitchen, 1 up into the kitchen, 8 down to the balcony) because The Carrick has so much charm and character in its repurposed use. A VARIETY of snacks were available in the lobby from 3 to 7 and also left out on a dresser in the main hallway. Such a thoughtful and nice touch. This was such an unexpected and appreciated bonus we took advantage of. Some people care about this, so I will mention here that the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Great sleep/bed. Comfy couch, DirecTV. We were SOOOO comfortable. Brad and his staff were attentive and kind, much like everyone we encountered in Bisbee. The Carrick is a perfect example of the character and uniqueness you will find all over town that makes Bisbee so special. We can't wait to come back!

This is probably the nicest hotel in Bisbee. The new owners purchased this hotel and refresh it. No more nasty carpets, nice vinyl floors in every room. The beds looked updated and clean. Each room (our group got 2 rooms) are furnished uniquely and had a full kitchen (that we didnt use). Why not 5 star? This might be the best hotel in Bisbee, but this is Bisbee, AZ. The hotel was obviously refurnished with second hand furniture. The couches were worn, and you sink in. One mirror in the room looks like they were found at a thrift store and hung up there. So is the dining room table and the appliances. Don't expect luxury. It is clean, and you can tell they are trying hard to make it nice. Just too bad they didnt really tried their best.

The hotel was very clean but a little hard to navigate. The $20 service charge is rediculous especially when staff is only there for a short few hours and or TV would not work. The hotel is close to the main Bisbee street and walkable to the mine and other attractions.

This was my 3rd time in Bisbee, But my first time staying at The Carrick. Its really close to the town and it has parking on site witch is part of why i choose it. The room I snagged was almost as big as my own place. The staff was nice and the lobby had loads of snacks free for the taking. They have a free gym you can use to help work off all the free munchies. What I really liked were the cool artwork in my room. I heard every room's got its own theme, so I'm pumped to swing back and check them all out.
