Marriott Birmingham

I was greeted upon arrival and was thanked for being a gold elite member. Angela T has serviced me a couple of times during my stay and her attitude and professionalism is always top notch. The rooms are always cleaned, comfortable bed and pillows. The pool area was PERFECT for the kids.

I stay at marriotts at least 80 nights per year, a titanium class member. I love Marriott overall, but This visit was the exception. We drove over 9 hours and when we got to the hotel we were exhausted. We asked for a cot, then went and got dinner only to find it was not in the room a couple hours later. We had to go to front desk and ask again. After getting everything settled in, we noticed the air wasn’t cooling properly. We called front desk who sent a man stating the air was fine & brought us a dirty fan and out of exhaustion hoped for the best. It was a very warm night. We also noticed mold in the vent and hair and yuck on the baseboards. The elevators were equally dirty. This is NOT up to Marriott standards. When we complained to the front desk she did nothing to try to rectify the situation. This is unacceptable. The great parts about our stay was Maxwell at the front. He exemplified care and hospitality. We also appreciated the M lounge as it was well stocked and cleaned. Marriott, please do better.

Love the setting, exceptional staff, great restaurant, feels like home! Thanks to Maxwell and Colvin for making the check in process exceptional.

My friend & I stayed here a few weeks ago & had the best experience. The hotel was very clean & centrally located. Our room was cozy & the staff was friendly… Especially Max. He was incredibly helpful.

Gavin is a great asset to this establishment. Frint desk staff was also amazing! Wish air would get colder, but other than that it was a great stay!
