1) Very disappointed to not even get trash/towel/coffee replenishment during our stay 2) do not stay here unless you FULLY understand the parking situation. It is off site, not included in the rate, a giant confusing pain, and not particularly safe feeling. Will definitely not stay here again or recommend unless you are here solely to visit the hospital.

The front desk customer service was dismal. They only answered questions with a yes, no or one word reply. They were not courteous or helpful. Most of your customer base is associated with UAB patients and family. Most of us are here under very stressful circumstances and could use a kind face. The prices at the Bistro were astronomical. I paid $62 for a hamburger, wings and two drinks, and $20 for two coffees and a bottle of water. No alternate dinging choices were suggested. I was told Door Dash was an app like I didn’t know that when I asked what restaurants would deliver. No uber info as that is also an App The price of the room was high for an old hotel even with the UAB discount. I will have to stay there again in November and hope the front desk has better attitude then.

No valet parking and car parking is in hospital lit next to hotel. Many street people lying around parking facility… felt unsafe to walk to and from parking… bot good.

Great location with great staff
The hotels location is perfect for UAB hospital. Lots of local eateries are nearby. The best part of this hotel is the staff, at every level. Truly kind and friendly while staying professional!

TV could not be seen unless room totally dark. Front desk didn't seem to care about anything. No note pad in room. Sold frozen dinners in lobby but no microvwave in room. Lesser hotels provide them. Beds really low to floor and mattress sinks you even lower. Makes it really difficult for handicap people to get out.

The only issue was that there was only one microwave on the entire floor. I was staying there after surgery. It was. Very inconvenient
