Gem of a place !. Lovely , spacious triple room. Plenty of tea, coffee , hot chocolate sachets inside the room with the availability of fresh milk too !.Bottles of water and a chocolate each too. 😋.Great breakfast , small breakfast was plenty. Packed lunch was fab and well needed for our hike!.Lovely owner Carol who has a fab sense of humour and her beautiful cat Smudge 🥰.Carol was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave great advice on where to eat and visit in the local area.Nothing was too much trouble. Well situated for visiting many places.Will definitely visit again.

Plenty of safe parking next to the property. A grand building in a very pleasant setting on three bus routes with views across to Kinder Scout. A warm welcome, a lovely comfy room, generous tea/coffee/chokky in the room, a splendid shower and the breakfast options .... first class.

Overall, a great stay with a lovely host. Carol is so friendly, caters to your breakfast needs, and made for a lovely stay in the peaks. Very convenient location with aldi / petrol station nearby, also a great Italian restaurant nearby too which was recommended in their handbook- we loved it so much !

Great stay
Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Great spacious family room, clean and comfortable, with a lovely view from the window. Nice quiet location with places to eat in the evening a short walk away. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Would definitely recommend.

We have just arrived home after a 2 night stay here. We absolutely loved everything about this lovely B & B. From the location, the room and the yummy breakfasts. Carol is a great hostess, a real down to earth lovely lady with a wicked sense of humour. We ordered a packed lunch for today, and wow there was so much in there and great value for money. To have the view of Kinder Scout out of one bedroom window, to Lantern Pike out of the other, was amazing. The deep bath, was our saviour after the walk we did yesterday. The bed was very comfortable too. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the warm welcome. Keep up the good work x

We liked the warm welcome we received. The breakfast had an excellent choice. We were directed to an easy safe walk to the next village for dinner choices in the evening.
