The Waltzing Weasel B&B

Booked for three nights as a little get away. Carol our host is warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Quite happy to replace black pudding with an extra hash brown for a delicate southerner on what is a superb breakfast. The room we stayed in was more than adequate. Excellent assortment of drinks and little biscuits. Fresh milk daily in fridge for all rooms outside in the corridor ( nice touch) Excellent informative folder in the room giving the history of the place and local information. Done with real care and attention to detail. The shower while totally ok can only be enhanced if it's possible to install a power shower? Plenty of soaps and shampoos. Lose the brown towels White is always best. Nicely presented bed and comfy. Wifi was a breeze. It just works when in the building , no password required, A big want for guests in this day and age Nice little garden with table and chairs. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely little b&b because Carol cares about your experience and we wish her and the family continued success with the waltzing weasel. One final point as Carol is happy to point out in the informative folder. 'Breakfast in Bed is available but only if your willing to move your bed down and into the kitchen' 😄 ...And if it wasn't for my bad back I would of liked to have tested that theory. Next time eh 😉 Well Done you made our weekend away from the rat race most enjoyable

This bed and breakfast is really ok, it was comfortable and provided a traveller with all necessities that may be needed. A single room had a nice bathroom and had all tea and fresh milk for it. Sheets and towels probably need to be exchanged as they were a bit worn out. Breakfast was also nice and the service very courteous. There was a selection of cereals, fruit, toasts, etc. and a full English breakfast. The poached eggs needed to be cooked a bit longer as the egg whites were still runny. Overall, it was a good experience.

Had a great time at The Waltzing Weazel for our anniversary & a walk up Kinderscout. Great location, great hosts & an awesome belly busting breakfast! Carol was very friendly & had a fab sense of humour. The room itself was lovely, had lots of little touches. Really cannot fault it. Perfect. Thankyou.

Gem of a place !. Lovely , spacious triple room. Plenty of tea, coffee , hot chocolate sachets inside the room with the availability of fresh milk too !.Bottles of water and a chocolate each too. 😋.Great breakfast , small breakfast was plenty. Packed lunch was fab and well needed for our hike!.Lovely owner Carol who has a fab sense of humour and her beautiful cat Smudge 🥰.Carol was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave great advice on where to eat and visit in the local area.Nothing was too much trouble. Well situated for visiting many places.Will definitely visit again.

Carol was fantastic and the room was exactly what we needed for a wedding in the area. Comfortable bed and was able to get early check in. Fantastic tasty breakfast with good staff and banter. Thank you xxx
