Unfortunately, this location has changed owners. The color scheme on the 2nd floor is horrible, (mustard yellow and battleship grey) but that is a matter of taste. Went down to have their delicious breakfast and was so disappointed, the whole breakfast area is now in a little room where you are bumping elbows with the other guests trying to get a meal. The eggs were scorched so bad that I asked the young lady working there if they have any fresh, she brought out more of the same (see picture), no more hard-boiled eggs, the bagel toaster only worked on 1 side, they downsized the coffee cups, and the dry cereal was stale. In the bathrooms they eliminated the personal bottles of shampoo and conditioner and replaced them with full sized bottles stuck on the wall of the shower, no telling how old these are or if someone might tamper with the contents. (See picture) We usually come here 2-3 times a year but are probably going to have to rethink our choice of accommodations.

the 1st thing i saw when we got to the front door were about 20 toilets in boxes by the door and tarps all over. entering the hotel we were greeted by drywall dust, point smell and constructions materials. the room we were in was not even complete. there was no door on the closet and drywall dust on the curtains. around 10 pm the workers started hammering. We called down to the front desk and only options was another room. they would not help find a different hotel. ended up leaving around 1130 and went to another hotel.

Pirate weekend- but stayed in Birch Run!
We arrived to renovations but that didn’t stop us. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had recently been renovated. It was clean, comfortable and has plenty of room for 3 people and all our luggage. We will definitely return again. While many friends stayed in Frankenmuth, we decided to stay in Birch Run. What a great idea. Meijer, right behind us. A dollar tree not even a block away. Close to the outlets and all the food choices (yes we want to Tony’s, twice!) we ventured into Frankenmuth, an easy 15 min or less drive from the hotel. It worked perfectly!

No usb outlets, very limited plugs. Room was not very clean, construction going on, stairwells Filthy. Place smelled very very dusty

I was not aware that the hotel was remodeling and there was a lot of dust in the air. I was in an updated room and the workmanship was disappointing.

Carpeting filthy curtains would not close shears ripped lamp shade broken vending machine had one item in it parking lot many places broken potholes they said they are refurbishing have materials stacked everywhere wish i would have know before i booked

Property is under renovation which was not mentioned at booking. Employee checking in was less than pleasant. Place was clean. Coffee was horrible.
