· Eigentlich dürfte ich gar nicht so viel Werbung machen, sonst bekomme ich das nächste Mal kein Zimmer mehr. ....Smile.... Die Lage des Hotels ist ein Traum. Es liegt sehr ruhig, direkt am Rugard-Aussichtsturm. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich. So eine sehr nette und umsichtige Bedienung erlebten wir schon lange nicht mehr. Hiermit noch einmal ein große Dankeschön an das Personal. Essenstechnisch wurde unser Gaumen sehr verwöhnt. Auch hier können wir die Bewertung mit ausgezeichnet abgeben. Liebevoll wurde sich um unsere Hunde gekümmert. Da schlug unsere Herzfrequenz noch höher vor Glück :-) . Für den Aufenthalt auf der wunderschönen Außenterasse standen ausreichend Sitzkissen und Decken zur Verfügung.

Wir haben im August ein Wochenende im Hotel verbracht. Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard. Das Frühstücksbufett war sehr übersichtlich. Geringe Auswahl. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Das Personal war bemüht. Am Abend als wir das Hotel betraten wurde uns mitgeteilt das Getränke nicht mehr zu haben sind obwohl das Personal noch vor Ort war. Bei einem zweiten Besuch wollten wir im Restaurant etwas Essen. Wir wurden dann abgewiesen mit der Begründung das es Essen nur für Hotelgäste geben würde. Das Lokal und der Außenbereich war zu diesem Zeitpunkt völlig leer. Für uns ein Grund hier nicht mehr her zu kommen.

We had a very good meal here. It's not exactly cheap, but the dishes are worth the price. The portions are sufficient. The waiters are very attentive and friendly. There's also a tower right next door that you can climb with a wonderful view.

It's over! The staff was very friendly and tried to make it as comfortable as possible. The hotel is getting old though. From the bathroom to the balcony, it's just about adequate. Price-performance ratio is not there. The chef in the "gourmet restaurant" should not be so confident in himself, but should rather cater to the guests who want to eat there. We will not visit the Rugard again
