The hotel is pricey for what it offers. Modern architecture with glass, beautiful hall with a classy Christmas tree and restaurant that fullfil 4 stars. But the king room (more than 200 euro per night ) was like 3 stars max.. Basic interior and materials. Slippers were missing which the receptionist promised to bring but didn't happen. The bathtub was scary, black pieces came out when we turned on the bubble function. After the water drained, we saw what was there...
The swimming pool had a sewer smell where there were holes for water...
Would not return.

Spinnenweb in kamer. Bij het boeken van de wellness werd er niet gezegd dat er geen handdoeken voorhanden waren. De afrekening klopte niet: er werd een late check out om 10 u 30 en twee ipv één keer wellness aangerekend. Werd aangepast zonder verontschuldiging.. na onze vraag kregen we pas een afrekening op papier..

Goed: - Prachtig kader - Behulpzaam, attent en vriendelijk personeel - Mooie, ruime en goed voorziene suite Clémentine, met mooi uitzicht - Zeer ruim ontbijt Verbeterpunten: - Wifi-snelheid lijkt softwarematig beperkt te zijn per kamer, terwijl het logischer zou zijn dat te doen per toestel. ‘s Avonds was ik bv een aantal filmpjes aan het doorsturen en mijn vrouw iets aan het streamen via YouTube, en dat ging niet tezamen. Beetje stom. - Je moet op de grond gaan zitten om de verwarming in de badkamer aan te kunnen zetten. Da’s niet echt op het niveau van de rest van het hotel. - Je kan geen nachtlampje aanzetten zonder de algemene kamerverlichting mee aan te zetten. Beetje rare keuze. - Geen onderzettertjes voor theeglazen (om het theezakje op te zetten), zowel niet in de kamer als in het restaurant. Al bij al schitterend verblijf gehad en we komen met veel plezier nog eens terug.

Een super hotel in een prachtige omgeving, met een gastronomisch restaurant, men kan er leuke wandelingen maken, een top aanrader, ligt naast de commanderie van Alden Biezen, keuze uit verschillende gastronomische menu’s, niet ver van Maastricht en Tongeren.

Totale teleurstelling !! NOOIT MEER !! Superior ouderkamer, was een klein achterkamertje met kleine badkamer, ontbrekende zithoek ... Geen van de kamers hadden badjassen en slippers (terwijl we wel 15€/pers. moesten bijbetalen om een uurtje in het zwembad te mogen) Onthaal werkt helemaal niet mee en hier kregen wij enkel de mededeling '' u hebt toch zicht op een groene tuin'' (lees : intex zwembad van de buren) Voor onze 3 echt minderwaardige kamers 520€ voor 1 nacht betaald en nog nooit in zo'n rotzooi moeten slapen !! Spinnenwebben, smerige muren, plafond spots die naar beneden hangen, afbladderend en versleten meubilair, degoutante douches vol kalkaanslag en op de koop toe waren de 3 kamers naast 'utility rooms' van de poetsdienst en de lift, waardoor je geen minuut rust kent Wat een gedenkwaardige familie uitstap moest worden is één grote stressvolle desillusie geworden ! Genoeg andere prachtige hotels in de buurt aan 1/3 van de prijs en met een groter aanbod en uitstekende service all in !!

Totale teleurstelling !! Superior ouderkamer, was een klein achterkamertje met kleine badkamer, zonder de 'grote' badkamer ontbrekende zithoek ... De twee andere standaard kamers waren grote kamers, waaronder een met reuze badkamer, dubbele wastafel en enorme douche, terwijl de 'superior' een kleine kamer is zonder enige meerwaarde. Onthaal werkt helemaal niet mee . Wat een gedenkwaardige familie uitstap moest worden is één grote stressvolle desillusie geworden !

Goed hotel maar zeer overprijsd. Deze Martin heeft niet de uitstraling en unieke sfeer die bv Martin Leuven of Mechelen heeft. Martin’s rentmeesterij moet het hebben van het uitzicht en de spa . Voor beide moet je echter fors bijbetalen. Het mooie uitzicht is enkel voor de charme kamer en duurdere kamers. Zwembad (incl sauna) 15€ voor 1u Tenzij je een suite boekt. De moderne inrichting is wat onpersoonlijk en doet wat klinisch aan. Personeel is super vriendelijk en zeer professioneel.

Very nice hotel. Friendly and professional employees. Very close to the beautiful castle and its magnificent park. The hotel also has a garden with sculptures. Very good breakfast buffet with lots of variation. We were accompanied by our dog and therefore we could not book a suite. However, the room assigned was spacious and very comfortable. We asked for and received bathrobes without problems and free of charge. Water, coffee, tea in the room. The stay is payable by eco checks. Small downside: a little Swiffer on the lamps and sculptures in the restaurant would be desirable.

Ik bleef overnachten op 19 juni en moest heel vroeg vertrekken in de ochtend voor mijn werk. Ongeacht ik +2u vroeger voor opening van het restaurant weg moest, heb ik een lunchpakket meegekregen voor onderweg. Ik werd ook heel goed ontvangen.
