If you love historical buildings, you have to stay here. The service meets royal requirements. Like in the movie. We were even lucky enough to meet the reigning king.

One of the best stays in Rajasthan we have been through. We got a good price for the suite and enjoyed it here on a rainy day. The hotel facilities are beautiful and there are rooms for entertainment and games. There is also a large and spacious garden with everything that pleases the eye. The staff are good and do their best. In the morning there is a flute player who performs a distinctive Rajasthani tune.

The palace is really beautiful and big. Is far sway from the noises of the street. It was really impactful and an experience stay in this residence. The food is great, both dinner and breakfast, and rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly and kind. It was a wonderful stay!

The palace gives you the feeling of stepping back in time. The arches and domes, the facade, the furniture all give you a sense of nostalgia taking you back a few hundred years. The staff service was top notch, all our requests were handled in time. The only issue was the cold, the heaters provided were not enough to heat the rooms sufficiently. The hot water in the shower was lukewarm in the morning. But these minor inconveniences could be ignored in place of the service and the lovely stay.

My one-night stay at Laxmi Niwas Palace from the 16th to 17th December was nothing short of spectacular. From the outset, the check-in process was seamless, prompt, and handled with utmost care, ensuring a warm welcome to this magnificent heritage property. A special mention goes to Mr. Vikas, the manager, who patiently and warmly answered all my queries about the century-old palace, sharing fascinating insights that deepened my appreciation for its history and charm. The highlight of my arrival was the grand surprise upgrade to the Maharaja Suite, which was simply extraordinary. Spacious, beautifully adorned, and thoughtfully designed, the suite epitomized luxury and comfort, with ample storage and a grand bed perfect for two. The property itself is impeccably maintained, celebrating the originality of its historical structure while ensuring the highest level of comfort and luxury for its guests. My dinner at Gulab Mahal was an absolute delight—the food was exquisite, and the staff were affable and pleasant, creating a dining experience that was as memorable as the surroundings. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised me with a heartwarming birthday celebration, a gesture that I will cherish forever. A particular gentleman, whose name I regrettably forgot, went above and beyond to make the celebration truly special and unforgettable. Every aspect of my stay, from the grandeur of the suite to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, made this visit exceptional. I will undoubtedly return to Laxmi Niwas Palace, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and authentic royal experience in Bikaner.

We stayed here at the Laxmi Niwas on the 30th Oct for one night only. All I can say is wow.... what a beautiful place. We where very, very fortunate to have the whole hotel (palace) to ourselves. We were told that there were only 3 or 4 rooms that had been taken. Also that the next night they were due to have 40 rooms occupied. In the morning before we left, we decided to have a walk around the grounds. After around 15mins at the front, we were approached by (who we thought was one of the ground) staff. He asked if we would like a tour of the builds. We had no hesitation but to say yes. He took us to the top floor, where we could see for miles. He pointed out various aspects of the building and locations around it. He also mentioned that the latest "Princess" still living in one of the quoters, which was clearly visible for the roof. An amazing tour. Many thanks to that person. Also, there was a live band during our evening meal. A wonderful place (Palace). Would most definitely recommend this to everyone. Mohan Patel

The entrance to this palace is absolutely stunning. The inside is just as good too. We received a warm welcome from friendly staff. The room was very large and looked great. The bed, however, was a little hard. The bathroom was ginormous. We had dinner in the inner courtyard, which was a lovely setting. It's a shame the meal didn't live up to the same, as it was not very nice. The lamb dish was basically bone and gristle. The Naan bread was not fresh.

The laxi Niwas palace is remote from the town of Bikaneer which cannot be accessed by walking. It is a wedding venue although I was not kept awake by the noise. Ear plugs are provided. I am disappointed by no response to a missing expensive top that was taken from the bathroom hanger. . Breakfast the first morning was a non event as there were not many guests however picked up the following morning when a tour group was there.

been there today to alongwith my friend who had come from Dubai to show him the palace Hotel but had a terrible experience we ordred for tea ,coffee , Fresh lime and Cheese toast But coffee was the worst undrinkable and when i bring to notice of sever his reaction was the worst. He insisted that this is how it is made and even he doesn’t bother to replace it . Cheese chilli toast was very ok. We would never ever prefer to cone this property very dull environment and worst servers. Any day my ulitimate choice is Narendra Bhawan as at present we are staying there and in past also i have stayed 4!times . It is best property of Bikaner in terms of quality and service. My next destination is Suryagarh Jaisalmer

Upon arriving at the Laxi Niwas hotel, you will be taken by the imposing grand architecture, and upon entering the hall, you will be impressed by the chiseled red sandstone of the grand inner courtyard. Hard not to feel like royalty! This is accompanied by courteous and attentive service. After check-in our very large palatial suite (with 5 to 8 m ceiling), we went touring Bikaner with the guide recommended by the hotel, who was excellent, and we ended the day having a romantic dinner in the inner courtyard under the stars accompanied by marvelous music and dancing. The Maitre D' chose the menu for us, and it was delicious.

It’s a beautiful heritage property over 150 years old. Rooms are big and spacious. We had Historical Suit, bathroom had a bathtub, ceiling had beautiful murals on it, with walnut wood carvings. It was an exquisite royal feel to it. Morning buffet had good spread. You would wake up to sweet melody of flute played in the central courtyard. In the evening they have 2 hours of Rajasthani folk artist singing and dancing. Property was huge with ample open space, one can sit in the garden on a balmy winter mornings. Location is right in heart of the city with everything in 3km radius. Staff were super courteous and warm. We had a great stay and unforgettable experience.

Awesome!! and beyond words. Frankly we were bit hesitant after booking this palace due to some off reviews. But this is one of our best experience till now. Each one of the staff and management are doing their job perfectly and managing a great hospitality. The palace is amazing especially at dawn. 5 out of 5 to Chef Mr Nand Lal Singh ji and his team for the delicious food. I have never seen chef is talking to guests abs asking their taste but here he goes extra mile and treated us with delicious Rajasthani meal like ker sangri, dal Bhati choorma. We took historical suit and it was huge and beautiful.children loved it. Special thanks to Mr Upender Singh as he took great care of us. I definitely recommend this place to everyone for their weekend gateways as it offers royal experience and historical monuments.

We have stayed many palace hotels of India ..but this tops all in terms of service and architecture and price. We have seen this palace in movies but no camera can capture It's true beauty. You have to visit personally to feel It's grand Beautiful carvings. We had booked 5 rooms. 2 rooms We felt like old and smelly, on request they immediately changed it. Rooms r nice and clean. Food is really awesome. We had breakfast and dinner there. Every dish was super.. Chef recommend us local dishes and specially prepared dinner as per our requirement. Papad, bhujia, gutta all courrier were super. Folk music performance was also very good. Having breakfast in huge courtyard with live flute music was a total magical experience. View of sunset from terrace is Amazing. Staff is very nice and helpful. They guided us to palace rooms and gave detail history. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definately recommend all to visit bikaner, stay here and enjoy this place like a king ..
