Motel opgebouwd uit zeecontainers. 1 kamer bestaat uit twee containers, dus veel ruimte.
Bedden okay. We hadden de i druk dat dit met name als onderkomen dient voir mannen die in de buurt werken, prima verder.
Rustig gelegen, goed voor een overnachting op doorreis. Ik zou hier niet langer willen blijven, want in Big Lake is sws niks te beleven.

Disappointed
The first room I was given was filthy and unfit to stay in. The second room was ok but had trouble with the key card.
You could tell the hotel was built with a lot of pride and was once probably very nice, but it's not being kept up and felt like it was turning into a lower income extended housing which would be fine with proper upkeep

Quirky, but with one flaw
I had not realized that this hotel is actually built from 20 foot shipping containers, each of which was repurposed into a hotel room and stacked two high. In reality, though, the room was quiet and comfortable.
The fly in the ointment, as it was, was that when I went to take a shower I discovered to my dismay that the genius who installed the plumbing did not include the piece that enables you to switch the water flow from the spout in the tub to the overhead shower. No push button, no lever, no switch of any kind - meaning, of course, no shower. On top of that, this being a Sunday, the front office was closed so I could not call anyone (not that there are phones in the room - but I had a cell phone) to see about perhaps using a shower in a different container/room. This, alas, was sub-optimal, to say the least.

Very clean and comfortable
Very interesting setup and a unique stay. I really enjoyed it. The room was very clean and a good size. Super comfortable too. I would happily stay again. I stayed in a cabin.

Been staying here for three months now, only because it’s the only hotel in town for a cheaper price than $100, but they absolutely suck. I’ll come to the room some nights to not being able to open my door because “the lock is frozen. Cats are every where, I was put in a room where the hinges were broken off of the door. I also recently found out they just tuck the bed sheets in and make it look new but I was given the same room in two reservations and found the same ketchup stain in the sheets that I had left the day before, they don’t clean anything. Do yourself a favor and never stay here.
