By The Way Motel

Not What I Was Exoecting! Was disappointed to learn that the restaurant or lounge were not open to serve guests. We chose this hotel with the belief that these services were on site since i have a disability and it is difficult having to get in and out of a vehicle to go offsite for meals. We did enjoy the breakfast offered each motning. We chose a room with a king size bed which meant there were two of us staying there, but yet there was only 1 side chair to sit in. The other option was an office desk chair which is not a comfortable choice. My biggest complaint was the accessible shower. My disability requires thst i need a walk-in shower stall, which i did have. My understanding of the ADA laws requires a bench to sit on in the shower while bathing, which there was nothing of the kind. If i had a wheelchair, i would have to bathe in the chair and get it soaking wet. The way the shower is designed caused the water to run all over the bathroom floor which became extremely slippery. I needed extra towels just to wipe up the floor in order not to fall. Just be aware, you need to request housekeeping to clean your bathroom, empty the trash cans or make your bed. They do not offer this service until day 5. I had to go request extra towels from the front desk.

Convenient to mall, other shopping, and food options. Also, liked that it had 2 entrances for parking in rear. Very clean and also liked suite option.
