Grey Squirrel Resort

I'm really sorry, but I usually don't write reviews, but I think I should let everyone know. We thought we were going to a great place on referrals, but this place turned out to be very bad. The outside grounds are not maintained, the walkways are dangerous because they have divots, uplift, cracks, and people can trip. In the cabins they are dirty, and ours had roaches in the kitchen. The pots and pans were in terrible shape and not even fit to cook in. The bathrooms had cobwebs all in the upper part and the toilet was not cleaned. Underneath the furniture and couch there was nothing cleaned and the floors were not swept. The entire property needs to make over. It's really sad to see a place like this that has so much potential go to hell. I would not ever take my family there again.

Omg the worst of the worst! Not only are there no silverware or dinnerware or cookware in this so called resort but the outdoor seating the bbqs have spider webs & covered with bird poop for years & never cleaned ! The room was dosgusting not cleaned the sheets were dirty the shower was painted over & chipping! Not a resort by far. The coffee maker was rusted 1 fork 1 knife. We left the next day and asked for a refund for the remaining days but we were told the chided owner corporation said no refund and go ahead and write your review and dispute the charge with your credit card company! My advice DO NOT stay here! It’s beyond awful!

Fires & Vacuums & no hot water and no refind The trip started out fine, but on the first night of three nights, the fire alarms went off and learned that there was a fire in a unoccupied hotel room on the third floor, which flooded most of the hotel after the fire department showed up. They proceeded to use water vacuums to suck up the water and yell at each other at 2 AM to about 4 AM that same evening the next morning we woke up to no hot water which they said should be fixed by the afternoon at 4 PM, there was no hot water and they told us there would be no hot water for the next 10 days and to go get a hotel somewhere else or deal with cold water we asked for a refund for the first night stay and have been fighting with them ever since to get a refund so although the hotel was in a great location, the trip and the customer service or a complete and utter disaster

Fun stay for a larger group. Not much to do on the property outside the cabin's Parks and attractions not far, away. Exiting the property can take some patience cars do pass by fairly quickly.

Everything was great

Nice staff, pet friendly. The property next to the boulder bay park, My Cabin named Secret Garden, a little bit old but clean.
