Hotel Villa Koegui Biarritz

This hotel was the absolute best! It was centrally located so everything was a short walk, but thankfully on a quiet side street that made for quiet sleep . Rooms were very clean and well appointed. But, the most impressive aspect was the amazing staff! When I entered the lobby, I realized that I had left my purse in the cab, with my passport and wallet. Unfortunately, the cab sped away before I noticed this. The staff were outstanding! One called local cab companies and another very clever young woman was able to track down the driver on Facebook! I never would have thought of that. They spent an inordinate amount of time helping me in a very stressful situation and were able to track down the driver, and my purse was returned with nothing missing! They were all soooo nice about it and didn’t make me feel like a pest! The staff member the next day gave us great recommendations and was very helpful getting us a cab for the next leg of our trip. There is a very comfortable library type room off of the library which provided us a nice place to relax. Can’t say enough about this amazing hotel.
