Cucina dozzinale e molto carica di grassi e spezie per coprire la qualità mediocre. PIzzoccheri carichi di formaggio senza senso: i pizzocheri con la cipolla poi non si possono vedere. Spezzatino con funghi congelati e dal sapore di salmì. Polenta cruda. Il caffè buono.

Posizione comodissima per dormire a 10m da Tirano , sei in un borgo , quindi il silenzio è assicurato , prenotate al vostro arrivo anche la cena, vi assicuro che è superlativa, con prodotti locali e piatti del territorio , pieno di particolari e curato dove la Signora Anna ti coccola consigliandoti, una vera professionista dove è tutto organizzato . Già mi immagino quella terrazza piena di fiori dove pranzare o cenare , una vera chicca. Grazie ancora Anna per tutto.

Anna Bertola (titolare) e Giacomo Nogara (chef) sono le persone che ognuno vorrebbe incontrare in ogni ristorante per la loro incontrastata capacità di accoglienza e professionalità che fanno della Trattoria Altavilla un luogo unico e di grande eccellenza riconosciuto, oltre che premiato, come una delle 10 migliori trattorie italiane (Golosaria 2023). Davvero imperdibile!

Die Locanda Altavilla ist einfach nur unglaublich! Meine Mutter und ich kamen aus dem Oberengadin, danach "da Anna", leider nur drei Nächte. Selbst bei angestrengtem Nachdenken, fällt mir nichts ein, was auch nur einen Anflug von Negativem in sich trägt. Aber die Seele des Hauses ist natürlich Anna. Mille grazie.

Il vero problema è riuscire a prenotare un tavolo, perché le richieste sono tante. Dopo molti tentativi, siamo riusciti ad aggiudicarci l'ambito premo. E ne è valsa la pena. Una delizia per il palato: cibo e vini di primissima qualità, preparati con cura e passione. Menù con piatti della tradizione valtellinese, a volta rivisitati, ma senza stravolgerne l'essenzà, anzi... L'unica avvertenza agli interessati: mettetevi comodi e aspettate, i tempi sono lunghi. Ma, finito il pranzo, desidererete tornare presto...come faremo noi
