I have been to many resorts at Kanha. Would definitely rate this resort as one of the best, but... People visit Kanha primarily for jungle safaris and the problem is that the proximity to the safari gates is minimum one hour drive. Either you have to take your vehicle well in time for the gates to open or you have to hire a vehicle which is pretty costly. That apart the resort is very nicely located near a water body and almost in the buffer zone. Rooms are very good and spacious. Staffs are good. Food is delicious but the breakfast spread not satisfactory. An ideal resort if you want to just relax. Oh yes...be very careful not to break a tumbler, they charge you real heavily, no one breaks them intentionally. Well overall a very good resort.

This is a hotel sold at a premium rate to travelers by showing good pictures but reality is very different. VERY DIFFERENT. You can judge by the reasons below. We booked 7 rooms for 2 nights. * Room 1: Party of insects in the bathroom, a lizard climbed up my body while doing the number 2 on day 1. Found the lizard in the same place on day 2 * Room 2: Bedcover had glowing insects within. Switch of the lights and they all came alive like a laser show. *Room 3: Lizard climed up while doing the number 2. Many insects in the bathroom *Room 4: Glowing insects on floor, lizard in bathroom. There is barely any landscaping on the property. It's raw and looks like a government jungle resort. Forgot to hire a Gardner. Now the best part. Staff has less regard for the guest than a youth hostel owner. They smile and say yes to everything but do little to please you. We wanted to sit in the bar area as so many of us, but it has two tiny A/Cs that don't cool the place. We informed them well in advance of our plans but no prep was done to make us feel good or cool the place. Food in day 1 was good but day 2 was 180 flip. Almost like the same person didn't even cook it. All starters taste good but are drowned in oil. The kofta had double salt, chicken had no taste and they had made nothing else. At 1030 pm the chef had left so we were forced to eat crap. Massive confusion in the kitchen always. Most of my judgement comes because of the price I'm paying. If they can admit to be a 3 star property with reasonable 3 star rates, I would not complain. This is a sham. Don't get fooled by the rate, there is nothing premium about this place.

Amazing experience..rooms were just awesome,service ,staff,food everything was excellent,well maintained,definitely a must visit property..5 star service n property..we were hear for 3 nights,weather was also good which enhanced our stay.

One of the most beautiful property in kanha must visit it you are looking to spend good time they have library kids activities a lake just behind the property and above all the hospitality and food is just perfect. Mr Vaibhav & Mr Kamal made all the efforts to make our stay comfortable. They probably have the best butterfly trail
