Hotel has recently changed management and seems to be undergoing renovations and upgrading. Not a problem however and all facilities very good. Room was a bit of a walk through gardens with peacocks to the restaurant. Not a hardship! Pool looked inviting but we had no time. Restaurant staff a bit distant maybe.

The Bagh, now Club Mahindra, Bharatpur. What an amazing holiday! A well kept, comfortable place with the palatial feel with peacocks all around. Great staff, they go that extra mile to help you. People like Bhoopinder, Omvir and Ramsingh are a real asset to the resort. The World heritage sight i,e the Keoladeo Bird sanctuary, barely a few kms away is spectacular,more so with a guide. Just 4 hrs drive from Delhi, this is a must visit place. Now is the season before the birds fly off to their homes.

A very comfortable stay polite and courteous staff good house keeping good room service good ambience clean lot of in-house activities Very near to the Keoloadev bird sanctuary they have there own bird watching areas on the hotel a hide is also there Enjoyed our stay

Changement de propriétaire un mois avant notre séjour. Nous avons fui, malgré un endroit qui pourrait être merveilleux. Tout est négligé, sale, pas d'eau chaude, cantine horrible et lente. Il est très difficile de communiquer avec la majorité du personnel qui croit maîtriser l'anglais et vous répond toujours "Yes". Piscine inaccessible, car sale...

The whole site is a lie. The Bagh is now Club Mahindra, with a service of a holiday club. They present on their site nice rooms, and high level site, where rooms are common and not clean. Furthermore, you have to walk 10 minutes to go to the swimming pool…

This hotel is no longer called The Bagh - it is now Club Mahindra Bharatpur! We stayed here for one night in order to visit the bird sanctuary at Keoladeo National Park. Our room was a ‘Heritage’ room which was clean and tidy but looked a bit dated. The hotel is in a quiet rural setting. There are extensive grounds in a colonial style and chipmunks, peacocks and birds frequent the gardens. The swimming pool is a good size but the loungers and seating are in need of a good clean. One area around the pool had building materials. Pleasant restaurant space with the quality of food being basic rather than stylish.

Stayed 2 nights at The Bagh to visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary arranged by my tour company Nature Safari India. When I first arrived it looked a little run down and in need of some repairs. However, the room was large & I liked that it wasn't a "hotel" type room. It had a courtyard nearby & large grounds surrounding the rooms & restaurant. There was water provided and a hot pot for tea, The restaurant staff were helpful & friendly. The longer I stayed here the more I liked it. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed in The Bagh for one day with family. The rooms are good (with mosquitoes), food is of average quality with limited options, staff is polite (not attentive all the times) and it is around 5 kms from Bird Sanctuary. The best part about the property we liked was staying in the huge forest/nature with lot of peacocks, birds, etc. It was memorable and mesmerizing experience. If you are a foody (food lover) go to laxmi vilas palace, bharatpur (around 2 kms from this property, but if you are nature lover, no other property matches this property in Bharatpur.
