Popular Bhaktapur 4-star Hotels

Take a taxi to the entrance of the scenic area, bought a ticket (500 rubles-equivalent to 30 yuan), pass Duba Square, the alley on the left, it is easy to see this hotel. I arrived early, so I decided to go to Nagarkot. The man who looked like a hotel owner seriously told me how to get to the bus station and gave me directions on the map. The room was clean and fairly quiet. Breakfast on the roof is attentive. Finally, I also recommend a reliable taxi back to Kathmandu, and pick up the bus at the entrance of the hotel when the time is right.

Just finished a very pleasant 2 night stay in one of the hotel’s king suites. We appreciated the extra space. The balcony was too narrow for much use of a chair although it was nice to open the balcony door for air and view. Although it wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, our suite had two bathrooms (one was a half bath). Food at the hotel was very tasty with many choices. The staff was great, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We spent 2 nights (full days). The hotel is perfectly positioned in this peaceful little town just two minutes walk to Durbar square. The room had everything you need and the restaurant excellent.. with a view into the open kitchen (try the local red wine which was superb). Breakfast was outstanding. We had a complimentary guided walking tour with a local priest which brought the whole town to life (do it as soon as you arrive if possible). The staff lovely! A perfect hotel!!

The Terraces Resort and Spa is nestled in the Hills in the Kathmandu Valley at a height of approximately 6,500 feet. Once you arrive here, be assured of enjoying spacious surroundings, fresh air, beautiful mountain and forest views, tastefully done interiors, amazing food, and an overall high level of hospitality. This is our second visit here in three months. The rooms are large, airy and come with a large deck to enjoy some sunshine and blue skies. The modern amenities include air conditioning, king sized bed, spotless clean bedding, and a modern bathroom equipped with fresh towels, shower gel, shampoo, lotion and handwash. There are free dental kits for those who need them, and a hair drier. It truly is a pleasure to stay indoors as well! Coming to the kitchen and restaurant, there is a wide range of food to choose from. Chef Deepak Mishra personally overlooks the clients requirements and we are totally impressed with the breakfast buffet, as well as the lunch and dinner menus. It's surely a treat to be in the midst of nature, surrounded by all you could possibly want! The resort has other amenities too, like a poolside bar, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and Koi Fish Pond, and Herb garden (where the kitchen requirements are sourced from), cycling, a Spa and Massage centre, Yoga room with an instructor, ATV bikes and cycles. There is also a wonderful recreation centre, which offers a small library, and indoor games like a pool table, carrom board, and other board games. There is a sunset view tea organized at the hotel's helipad, where we enjoyed Masala Chai with in-house bakery made snacks. There is no simply no room to feel bored here, as there's something for everyone. Definitely, one will not regret a stay at Terraces!

First of all , I would definitely recommend staying at least one night in Bhaktapur, where people mostly do it as a day trip from Kathmandu. Located in one of the narrow lanes of the old city, the hotel is hardly a minute's walk from Durbar square . This is a traditional family home converted to a boutique hotel without losing its old world charm. Clean room, cosy bedding, friendly service and a lovely rooftop with views of the durbar square wherein you catch a glimpse of the local life. Breakfast was a bit basic but again, you can't complain for the rates you pay.

If you say that the hotel is rich in color, it is a Heritage Hotel with only 25 rooms in Badgren. After the 2015 earthquake, the owner rescued a large number of artifacts from the world heritage of Badgren, and almost all the furniture was rescued from the disaster. The 75-year-old window frame sculpture was rescued from the fire, and the 400-year-old stone floor survived in the rubble of the palace. If it is possible, I also hope that, like the owners of these hotels in Nepal, they will be the inheritors of culture, and will preserve and inherit the history that they have experienced in their lives. #文化体验#

This is a 5 star hotel in the budget category for Nepal. We stayed in a room on the upper floor with a double bed, attached bathroom, and 2 nice sitting chairs and a side table, and a lot of sunshine and garden view. Very very clean!!! I am a clean freak, so this was important. Good lighting options in the room, not just one bulb (post trekking, that's lovely). Good bedding, and no mildew smells anywhere. This price per night includes delicious big breakfast, with tea or coffee, with 4 or 5 choices of set breakfast, from a egg, toast, yogurt fruit combo to a more nepali flare of chickpea curry, falafel-like patties, mandala omlette combo. Very filling. We only ate breakfast here, but did see other guests eating dinner by candlelight one evening. The host has such a good vibe! So kind. So chill. Just a lovely energy to be around. He gave us gentle suggestions each day - zero pressure! Just a...hey, I see you are reading these books, and there is a paper factory you may be interested in very close by. (It was marvelous) And hey, there's a festival coming on Monday that you might be interested in, and extending your Bhaktapur pass is free to do if you want to stay. That level of suggestion without pressure is a pleasure to be around. Every other guest we met here has also been friendly and chatty and lovely - I think it's the atmosphere created by the hosts here. The host's daughter also helped me solve a problem of getting more data through NCell on my phone in about 3 minutes... last time I had to find a shop and it was a hassle. I asked owner where would be a shop and he said, my daughter will help, and Snap! It's done for both myself and my partner's phones. The garden, though. 💜💜💜 The grass, the trees, the plants, the flowers, the birds! The hodt has set up tables outside, and created lovely sitting areas for breakfast, and for solo sitting. When we needed to find a place to shift to, as our airbnb reservation was completed, but we weren't ready to leave bhaktapur yet, I searched for ”hotel with garden”. This is the only one that came up in our budget range, and it's just lovely. So obviously cared for and loved by this host family. My partner and I are introverts and quiet travelers, and appreciate hosts that leave us be, while being available when we need help. This host has excellent social skills, and has matched us perfectly. I've also seen him interacting with more gregarious guests, and he matches them as well. That is valuable!! Two things that I appreciate as a post-trekking traveler.... the excellent and stable and fast wifi connection (needed to work online), and that when he brings the toast he brings a WHOLE jar of jam, peanut butter and honey. So many times on our treks I had toast and had to scrape a teaspoon of jam across my two pieces of toast... the whole jar feels like luxury. 😄 That's a silly one, but some other jam lover out there will sympathize. 😊 It is very close to a square, but with more of a neighbo

This guest house is in a fantastic location! It is right between Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Pottery Square- you can walk to many attractions and it is very easy to find. It is also in a very beautiful area, the surrounding architecture is very pretty and intricate. I could recommend it based on the area alone, but the staff was also very nice! On my last day in Bhaktapur, I went for a morning trek that ended up taking all day and I was not able to get back and check out in time. He worked with me over the phone and make the whole ordeal much less stressful. When I got back, he organized transportation for me and everything to my next destination. There is also a very nice café right across the road that serves very good coffee and has the absolute sweetest baristas! The room and attached bathroom was very clean and comfortable. There are plenty of outlets, there is water in the room, and the hot water in the shower works well. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Bhaktapur!

In the domestic economy hotel is not the price, breakfast is a 5 star service. Sitting on the roof and admiring the life of Bardgang, enjoying the meticulous service of several boys, I suddenly felt the rhythm slowed down. To the hotel is midnight at 12 o'clock, the car can not enter, the hotel came to pick up two people, the room is relatively compact, but because there is no hot water in the mountains in Jiadu, it feels very comfortable here. Going out is Durbar Square, and I took a break to take a break. The boss talked with us a few times.
