Khwapa Chhen
4.5/51 Reviews
The feeling was reconstructed after the earthquake, but only a part of it was rebuilt. The look is very new and the interior is very distinctive. The room was very clean, mainly because the bed was very clean. It’s much cleaner than the more expensive hotels I used to live in. There is no air conditioning in the room, no TV, no kettle, no toiletries. The view and location of the restaurant on the second floor of the hotel is very good, but the meal is generally not recommended. There is a chef recommended dry buffalo beef which is quite delicious. If you must eat at this hotel, you can order this dish.
Golden Gate Guest House
4/51 Reviews
We very much enjoyed our stay in this guest house. Very friendly staff, clean room, working fan, tasty food - the breakfast with fresh fruit, muesly and creamy curd is recommended as well as traditional Nepali tea/coffee. We appreciate the good quality beds/matrasses and quiet surroundings, allowing a good night sleep. Cultural heratige sites, small local Nepali eating places are close by as well as touristic shops, supermarket, restaurants and a busstation at walking distance.
Kumari Guest House
4.3/54 Reviews
We have no doubt our best accommodation in all the holidays in Nepal, from the perfect location to the very nice and gentle staff. The spacious, clean, warmed with a electric furnace that did well, Hot water. there is the possibility of booking buses for movements. really a great choice I advise everyone.
Mountain Guesthouse
4.2/52 Reviews
Mountain Guesthouse is perfect. The rooms are clean and quite. Sometimes you hear the noise of the streets, but it is Nepal. You get used to it and it’s charming in some kind of way. The location is perfect, just around the corner of Durbar square, and in front of a really nice temple, where you see a lot of locals bringing their offers and doing their rituals. The owner is super kind and makes to most nice breakfast. A bit of a combination between local food, with western: really good bara, some patatoes, with toast and egg as well. Served with tea or coffee. He even got me a famous king curd when I told I love them so much!
Sunny Guest House and Cafe
4.7/53 Reviews
We chose this place for its location and roof top terrace where breakfast is served. And we were not disappointed. Location couldn't be better and they serve a very nice breakfast which you can eat while enjoying the wonderful views of the surroundings. You see all the way to the Himalayas. And the management of the place is so caring and helpful. I'll go back here for my next visit.
