Bhaktapur Hotels with Bars

First of all , I would definitely recommend staying at least one night in Bhaktapur, where people mostly do it as a day trip from Kathmandu. Located in one of the narrow lanes of the old city, the hotel is hardly a minute's walk from Durbar square . This is a traditional family home converted to a boutique hotel without losing its old world charm. Clean room, cosy bedding, friendly service and a lovely rooftop with views of the durbar square wherein you catch a glimpse of the local life. Breakfast was a bit basic but again, you can't complain for the rates you pay.

If you say that the hotel is rich in color, it is a Heritage Hotel with only 25 rooms in Badgren. After the 2015 earthquake, the owner rescued a large number of artifacts from the world heritage of Badgren, and almost all the furniture was rescued from the disaster. The 75-year-old window frame sculpture was rescued from the fire, and the 400-year-old stone floor survived in the rubble of the palace. If it is possible, I also hope that, like the owners of these hotels in Nepal, they will be the inheritors of culture, and will preserve and inherit the history that they have experienced in their lives. #文化体验#

Just finished a very pleasant 2 night stay in one of the hotel’s king suites. We appreciated the extra space. The balcony was too narrow for much use of a chair although it was nice to open the balcony door for air and view. Although it wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, our suite had two bathrooms (one was a half bath). Food at the hotel was very tasty with many choices. The staff was great, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Good location, inside Badgang Ancient City, very convenient

Belonging to the boutique hotel, it is an old building of more than 300 years. The furnishings are also very delicate. The bedding is cotton and linen. The mattress pillow is very comfortable. The shower gel lotion in the bathroom tastes good, but I have no use. It is rare to prepare a lot of towels and two rolls of paper, many details are very intimate, breakfast is too rich, breakfast yogurt is cleaner than net red, it is delicious, dinner is also eaten at the hotel, the owner I will take photos to show me, let me choose better. I will explain it to me with special tastes. I am afraid that I don’t understand and I will search for pictures. The owner helped me to go to the airport the next day. A lot of comfortable vans. However, the address and phone number on Ctrip are wrong. Many taxis at the airport could not be found. The attitude of Ctrip to help solve the problem is positive, but the final solution is still solved by the locals to find the hotel phone. I hope I can change the error message. come.

Excellent hotel/apartment house 2 minutes walk from Bhaktapur Durbar square in a well-maintained, clean and newly renovated street. The staff are kind and helpful and have great recommendations on how to get around/what to see etc. We were warmly greeted by Roshna and we were offered hot hand towels to cleanse our hands/face from a long day’s travel. Prepared welcome drinks and a Nepalese scarf! Such a kind welcome! We stayed in the Navadurga apartment house, which is on the 3rd floor with excellent views of the city and surrounding mountains. The bedroom window looked out onto the main street but the building/windows are well-insulated so no noise was disturbing us during the night. The bedroom was spacious and the bed and pillows we found very comfortable. The shower was also huge and everything worked well. The accommodation included breakfast at the neighboring restaurant/hotel (owned by the same owner) and oh my! It was just out of this world, what a spread! We tried the local breakfast and the western breakfast and both were plenty, delicious & well presented! Bidur (our waiter) was excellent at taking care of us, he spoke great English and told us about Nepal and life here. All in all, this was the best place we stayed at in Nepal and when we come back to Nepal, we sure will be back here! Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this guest house. Very friendly staff, clean room, working fan, tasty food - the breakfast with fresh fruit, muesly and creamy curd is recommended as well as traditional Nepali tea/coffee. We appreciate the good quality beds/matrasses and quiet surroundings, allowing a good night sleep. Cultural heratige sites, small local Nepali eating places are close by as well as touristic shops, supermarket, restaurants and a busstation at walking distance.
