Hotels in Karakoy, Beyoglu

The location of the Hotel was brilliant. Just to my planning it was just in the middle of the spot where I had to visit. Also the managers in the lobby are super kind and they listen to whatever needs you have. I wish to visit here again if I have an opportunity to visit Istanbul again.

Excellent hotel with outstanding location near Galata tower. Impeccable service and cleanliness. However, my issue is not with the hotel but with Trip.com. I had booked 2 sea view rooms through trip.com. However, the reservation instructions provided to the hotel did not include “sea view” rooms. I was given 1 room in the basement with no views and one on the upper floors with partial sea view. Although Trip.com refunded a portion of my fees, it was an utter let down on expectations that partially ruined my holiday

Excellent location for exploring the old part of the city. All very walkable. As for the hotel’s facilities we dined a couple of times in the restaurant where the food quality and service were very good. Slightly disappointed with the quality of the room, especially the bathroom which had Sam occasional aroma of drains.we also enjoyed the swimming pool.

Unfortunately a disappointment regarding the hygiene of the room. Shower drain that has been open for 3 days to kettle that looks disgusting on the inside. I went into ignore mode instead of complaining because a holiday needs a positive mindset. Tip to hotel: guests do not want to be bothered with complaining about shortcomings, but expect that a hotel has already achieved this by letting a guest experience all the comfort and hygiene. Especially a 5 star hotel, because you don't just get those.

The Peninsula Hotel is undoubtedly the most beautiful hotel in the world (and probably the best), and is located on the peninsula where the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus meet. It has an exclusive 270-degree ultra-wide-angle sea view, with seagulls flying, golden sails sailing into the sea, church bells, and the hustle and bustle of the city... Only the Peninsula Hotel can integrate the perfect elements of Istanbul.

This is an old chain hotel that is great in every aspect, but the room type is not consistent with the pictures. I originally wanted to spend more money to see the panoramic city view, so I booked this room type, but the hotel gave me a 2nd floor, and the window was a building on the peninsula, which affected my travel expectations. So everyone should pay attention to note the floor and room view

Conclusion: Perfect location, close to the Galata Tower, many restaurants nearby, and you can walk across the bridge to take the ferry, which is very convenient. The view from the breakfast room is great. If you choose another building, the room will be bigger. The building is very historic. Note that the bank building is smaller, the other building is larger, and the restaurant is also in another building.

At breakfast, the staff Mustafa made me Turkish coffee, and the staff Demet made me pancakes and double-sided fried eggs. The staff was nice and the service was great. Although the location of the hotel is a bit noisy, the hotel facilities, sauna and gym are great!

The hotel itself is very good, between 3* and 4*. The location is good, in the same distance from the old city and the Taksim Square. Very close to the Suleimanian mosque. From the downsides: The hearing from the street, a number of unpresentative buildings that spoil the view from the room.

The hotel really gave only positive impressions. From the very first moments, I was greeted by friendly staff who were ready to help and immediately offered a transport card, which was very convenient. The room turned out to be spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. Although there were some minor issues with housekeeping, it didn't spoil the overall impression. The breakfasts at the hotel are simply magnificent — very tasty and filling. Friendly staff and a wonderful view of the city. The hotel's location is good: I took the metro from the airport, and it’s only a few steps to the Galata Tower. The area turned out to be very pleasant, and thanks to the convenient location, I easily walked to all the transport hubs. I have stayed in several hotels in similar locations and price ranges, but this one definitely turned out to be the best of all. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy comfort and convenience during their stay!
