Don't get me wrong, the rooms are tiny. But good things come in small packages. Suitcases can fit under the comfy bed, there are plenty of hooks and hangers on the walls, the tv is mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed, a shelf provides plenty of comp snacks, and coffee is located in the lounge outside the room. The hotel is squeaky clean, and the location is brilliant. Just a few feet away is an amazing coffee/pastry shop. Parking is behind the hotel, and the staff is lovely. It did seem pricey, however, but that would not stop us from staying there again.

Super - simply super. The Cabot provides an experience and is in the center of everything. The crew is on point and recommendations have been perfect. My wife and I have stayed without disappointment numerous times and we are openly crushed when they are sold out. Personalization, like welcome bags and snacks, just like being at home. Such a cute little hotel. We stay here every year as it’s close to everything we need. Very quiet and the location is good. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. We are impressed. We come down every year and we can’t wait to come back next year

Very cute room. Perfect for a family of 3 with our 9 year old loving her own space in the loft. The staff was so wonderful and gave good advice on travel and restaurant. Be aware it is quaint so not a lot of space but ok when not spending a lot of time in the room. Highly recommend.

Everyone was so nice..the bed was comfy probably the best sleep I've had in a long time..they even recommend place to eat..the owner was very sweet...the enjoyed my stay..And even before I got there i had told them it was my friends bday they remembered and put a gift bag in the room for her..

Here for a wedding… very comfortable solo, friendly staff, nice area. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. The room was nice, clean, and well maintained. Overall, I would highly recommend that folks stay here for the accommodations, area, and friendly staff.

The Cabot Lodge is adorable and cozy with super friendly and welcoming staff. Every detail in the room is thoughtful and planned for a perfect stay. We especially loved the loft bed and I hope to bring my family back as it would be perfect for a small family! My single and only critique in a perfect stay is that the room is small. All of the extra details and love Melanie put into her lodge makes this a definite 5 star spot.

The Cabot Lodge was the perfect overnight for myself and daughter. The room was VERY clean a very important factor in my ratings. The room was small but had plenty of hooks for hanging and a luggage stand. They had complementary snacks and a bedtime chocolate. The front desk staff member was very nice and offered to help with luggage. I was a little worried about parking behind the hotel but it was easy and well lit and very affordable (only had to pay 8am-8pm) The location was convenient to eateries and just a few blocks from laundry. We took the train into Salem so as not to worry about parking in town since it was busy season. I would definitely stay again, loved this hotel.

The Cabot Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or a week. The rooms were small but very well designed! Lots of space for storage and even a loft if a friend wants to join you. Close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and even walkable to Salem! The room was so clean. Linens fresh and clean! I can't wait to come back! And might just do that in two days on my way home!
