jacuzzi was broken and no tub in room. these were reasons i booked here to find it not as advertised.

Stayed here 5 years ago and was miserable...smelled like urine, hot, and dirty. Got another room and was the same minus the urine smell. 5 years later I accidentally booked the same hotel. BIG MISTAKE. Rooms are the same...musty smell, hot, and dirty. As we were finished looking at our room, 4 - 5 guys came out complaining there rooms were a thousand degrees and the AC didn't work. Since I couldn't get a refund, I had to eat $144 and go up the road to 5 Points. Great hotel for $6 more. DO NOT STAY HERE, unless you like throwing away money. Rooms should be about $60 each.
Additionally, I don't know how this place has gotten any good ratings...That is what suckered me in.

Comfort Inn Albany/Glenmont was a disappointment. The exterior door I used was unlocked, no need for a room key, completely unacceptable in this day and age. Also, the breakfast utensils were stacked eating side out instead of handle side out. How many germy hands had touched the tines on the fork I used? I wonder if the breakfast staff had any hygiene training. The odd numbered rooms have a lot of traffic noise from interstate 87. Heavy traffric on Hwy 9 makes a left turn from the parking lot a challenge. My room refrigerator froze my dozen hard boiled eggs, I turned the thermostat from 7 (maximum) to 4 before leaving. Pool water was not clear. Yuck. A crew was remodeling rooms at the end of the first floor, I assume the trailers in the back lot are holding furniture or building supplies. Perhaps the new owner, Mr. Patel, will improve things. Maybe not. I did not try the TV in my room. Everything else worked. The thermostat on entering was set to 61 degrees! The room was too chilly until I adjusted. My queen room had two sinks, one in the bathroom. Coffee/tea fixings in room, also hair dryer, alarm clock, desk with chair, and an upholstered chair. This could be a much nicer place.

Run down and stained furniture in rooms
The furniture in my room was quite worn and run down and there were some weird stains on both the bed frame as well as the lounge chair in the room. Also, the breakfast was questionable.
