Hard to fully describe the experience at this wonderful property. Although older as it was originally a convent the variations of the different rooms gives it great character. The location above the hill gives great views. The most amazing part of this property was the people. In the bar, resturaunt and front desk they made our experience winderful. A very romantic place to spend a weekend and explore the town below. Highly recommend this to anyone for a unique experience. People make a difference and they deserve a high rating!

Très belle bâtisse sur les hauteurs de Besançon parmi les vieilles maisons et avec parking( payant) notre chambre était au rdc dans un petit patio vegetalise ( vu petit chien ..) Mais peu de lumière interieure et peinture sombre donc pas très accueillant.salle de douche mini,et pas soigné dans les finitions donc hors norme pour un 4 étoiles. Repas très correct mais pas époustouflant avec des mélange de goûts trop osé .quantité pas énorme. Personnel aux petits soins.

Die Lage im historischen Kern von Besançon ist ausgezeichnet um die Stadt zu Fuss zu erkunden (inklusive Fort). Das Hotel ist auch mit Navy etwas verzwickt zu finden aber dann kann man das Auto auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz abstellen. Sehr aufmerksamer Empfang. Kostenloser upgrade auf ein grösseres Zimmer. Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet.

Une soirée mémorable. Un restaurant qu'on prisait depuis longtemps. Un accueil exemplaire, naturel , souriant , bienveillant. Une cuisine raffinée, de saison ...des œuvres d'art. Que ça soit gustativement et visuellement. Un cadre chic et sobre dans un bâtiment caché dans les hauteurs de Besançon. Pour moi le meilleur restaurant de la ville. Encore merci à toute l'équipe dynamique et passionnée .

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to the region. It was an outstanding experience across the board, from location and exemplary service to helpfullness and friendliness. This is a must stay place in Besancon. Lisa and Thibault, at the front desk, were a pleasure to interact with. The breakfast staff, Alida and Nadja provided superb service. Our room was clean and beautifully located. The hotel has its own superb garden and it is within walking (climbing) distance from the not to be missed Citadel. Bravo!

Huge potential but major disappointment. Short one night stay that turned out to be more than enough. Received a room for disabled people, nothing you can do when you get to your room at 03:00AM with a property packed. Still significantly different from what you can see on the website, specifically the bathroom. Anyway, you carry on and try to rest. Bedding quality is average, at best. Breakfast was a zoo, kids crying and screaming all over the place. Difficult to have a relaxing time starting your day with parents contemplating their kids throwing silverware on the floor. Breakfast selection is minimalist, well under par for that category and price. And what to say about the paying car park? Rain or shine, dust and gravel will make sure that your car is dirtier when you leave then it was when you arrived. A positive note, staff is nice.

Ce 4 étoiles ne tient pas ses promesses en ce qui concerne le room service pourtant annoncé comme fonctionnant 24 x 24 h. avec des propositions de plateau "au gré du chef". Le restaurant étant clos nous avons eu recours à ce service, mais servi uniquement ... en salle par le réceptionniste. Choix limité à 2 mini marmites de 25 cl environ attendues plus de 70 minutes ave 4 petites tranches de pain sans aucun service ,facturées quand même 25 euros l'unité, pour une qualité digne d'un plat surgelé de la grande distribution. Pour mémoire le menu du restaurant est annoncé à 55 euros comprenant amuse bouche, entrée, plat, dessert et tout le service que l'on imagine. Cherchez l'erreur pour cette mini cassolette surgelée.
