Fantastic place to stay in an 1850's built Victoria style house. The viaduct that we had a view of was built at the same time. The railway station is nearby,0 but is not noisy. Margaret and Justin the owners are lovely easy people to chat with. Our room had superking comfortable bed. Room was well furnished and plenty of space. Furniture is of the Victoria period. Nice combination of pictures, old and modern on the walls. Breakfast is individually cooked for you with selection of eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, beans and tomato's. Or cereals. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. You can walk down to the Tweed from the park next to the house. Otters can be glimpsed in the river if you're lucky. Great place to stay with free parking.

What a fabulous B&B. Situated close to the rail station, but not at all impacted by train noise. Close to the town so perfect for getting to the bars and restaurants. Quirky rooms and decor and engaging management, fabulous breakfast, home made bread to die for and very enjoyable to eat around a big table with the other guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly commend this place.

Quaint guest house run by a lovely helpful couple. This guest house is not for the under 60’s but what a beautiful place with lovely grounds & perfectly situated for a river walk & to go into town for something to eat. The owners could not of been more helpful with local information & seemed genuinely pleased for everyone to be there, would definitely book again if in the area.

Lovely accommodation with complimentary coffee and tea. Lovely breakfast cooked to order by Tracy. John & I did some tripe out to some nature reserves and visited Lindisfarne which is also exceptional for Nature and also interesting from a cultural historical perspective too.

A lovely B&B with a friendly welcome and they couldn't be more helpful. Great location near the train station, with a short walk to the centre of town. The breakfast is spot-on. The only slight downside is that it is next to railway bridge over the Tweed, so if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs.
