The Old Farm House

Good: The Old Farmhouse is in a beautiful location with stunning views. Within easy reach of many tourist attractions. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage room. Kitchen...again large with lots of storage for your own provisions. All bathrooms and showers are good. Lovely garden with plenty of seating and with gas barbecue. Not so good: The hot tub wasn't working....we should have been notified before our arrival. By the sound of things it's unlikely it will be fixed anytime soon. Brushed cotton sheets not really suitable for hot weather Downstairs bedroom windows don't open (key lost) ..again not suitable for hot weather Wine cooler doesn't work Whole place could do with a deep clean Wifi not always reliable No hand soap in most of the bathrooms....we asked but they were never filled up

We came home from this house today .. we were bit disappointed as came across view problems .. it's far from dog friendly as after a day my son had to take our dogs home because they kept jumping over the wall which was only small .. the hot tub was filthy full off dirty grime marks .. had no washing machine and dryer .. owners felt free to walk in our garden and house which made us feel like had no privacy at all and felt on edge all the time .. no notice to them walking in which when you have children last thing u want is strangers hanging about .. dogs wernt allowed up stairs so first night had to stay down with them .. overall not a place we will be staying again.
