Good no frills hotel . Clean and comfortable although our room (room 2) was quite small, but adequate for a 1 night stay . Modern bathroom with excellent shower . The hotel isn’t manned after 3pm But good instructions are text to you to allow access. Really good breakfast served by a very helpful lady , Excellent position for the bars restaurants and town centre

Good, no-frills accommodation. Hotel is only staffed in the mornings and uses an efficient, self-check-in system. Rooms are basic but spotless and comfortable. There's a narrow staircase up to the bedrooms, so this may not be the best option for anyone with mobility issues. We had a good hearty breakfast and encountered really friendly and helpful staff. Hotel location is excellent for walking tours of the town and for visiting nearby attractions such as Holy Island. It's also close to some excellent restaurants and bars in and around Bridge Street.

Room was very small, code sytem to get in & get the room key was difficult, breakfast was good ( only tume we saw someone)

Not a bad place close to all the pubs and restaurants in the centre, the hotel it's self is not manned and don't really have a front desk , you get a text which gives you numbers to get in , a bit odd but seems to work pretty well, the breakfast is full English and was excellent

To expensive for what you get, small room smells of damp, shabby and cold, no reception to speak to and breakfast was average at best. wont be staying here again and would not recommend for anyone else

A perfect place to stay for a night or even longer
Really lovely and cosy hotel in the heart of the town. They thought of everything - even the welcome book that had a history of the building and the local area. It was engaging and fun to take time to read. The facilities were excellent and the breakfast served was tasty and set us up for the day. I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone.

Is unstaffed, hence staff score.The staff we did see were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was ok. For me, it was nice to have the run of the place. The hotel was quite cold during the day, even in the rooms (but it was cold outside, to be fair).
