Do not waste your time! I was so unhappy with this hotel or hovel whichever you prefer. It had a virtual check in kiosk..no people to be found. I specifically booked here as we were on a long haul trip & breakfast really helps us in the morning..nobody available,no coffee, no food. Absolutely a joke!! I have written to the hotel twice with no response.. Please don't give this hotel your time

Great staff, nice room, clean and close to the beach. Had dinner at nearby fish place the manager recommended and it was great. Would definitely stay again if we overnight in Crescent City.

I enjoyed my two night stay here. Room was very clean and comfortable. I was just across the way from the beach so I could walk there. Good places to eat within walking distance. Check in was a little different it was virtual and person was very pleasant. I would not say they have breakfast, more like coffee and muffins in the lobby and that is all. I would suggest that they install grab bars in the bathrooms. It was a little scary to get in and out of the shower with nothing to hold onto. I would stay here again. You are close to the Trees of Mystery and all sorts of places to stop and enjoy the sites. Nic

Very clean room with an ocean view. Ann Marie checked me in and was just excellent. She made sure that I had a non smoking room and gave excellent advice for restaurants and personal advice on the best way to discover the great red woods.

My husband and I stayed two nights, while exploring The Redwoods. Anchor Beach Inn fit all of our needs. It's located within walking distance from the beach and a couple of restaurants.

I usually do not stay at motels, but my wife and I are driving the pacific west coast over ten days, so spending the night at a motel here and there is a more cost efficient option. We were both pleasantly surprised at how well kept and quiet Anchor Beach Inn turned out to be. The reviews on ******* were flattering, but still did not do it justice. The place is clean. The parking lot was not even half full when we arrived to our room for the evening. When I woke up,the next morning, the parking lot was full and we did not hear one person come in or leave their room. We wanted to be close to the redwood trails in the national park and the location was perfect for this. I highly recommend Anchor Beach Inn for a quick stay. Also, check in was handled with a live person on live video at a kiosk…..a first for me.

Pros's: Nice , clean , quiet and reasonably priced pet friendly hotel near the harbor and across street from the beach. Cons: bed was a little small , continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the virtual agent at the desk was a little weird.
