The new luxury 3 bedroom apartments were brilliant. We stayed in No. 2 upstairs with a large balcony with BBQ and dining setting for 6. The bedrooms had king size beds and were beautifully styled. We loved the Pizza Night that is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It's a great way to meet other park users. We are definitely coming back.

Stayed in the deluxe cabin. Very clean, well equipped and air-con had been turned on for our arrival which was very welcome on a 38 degree day. Had lovely view of the river as no caravans on sites in front of us. Pool a 10 second walk away and nice to have a quieter 2nd pool where you could swim laps - park wasn't full so above may be different at busy times.Whole park was very clean and staff very helpful. Great location for walks along the river and a stroll to the centre for supplies and meals. If I had to find a negative it would be that the new 2 storey units are not grassy or pretty with lots of concrete carpark which can make the walk to town a bit hot if you go out that gate. They don't seem to fit somehow with the rest of the park. But loved it and would definitely stay again.

Replied to a review request directly from the park but not published. We had a site with a very long walk to facilities. Never been to a park where the facilities are so far away to sone sites, not ideal. We were near the new pool which is even further to toilets etc and no toilet has been provided within the structure built at the pool, so just imagine, no toilet and a long walk….what happens especially with mountains of kids using it as it is a 1.2m deep pool! Main issue was the lack of adequate cleaning and attention to the pools. We were concerned but with very high temps and kids we did use them. The water did not look great (am a pool owner). The main pool had brown scum around the whole pool the entire time,m. We were there for over a week and it wasn’t touched. Easy to do too in a tiled pool. Park is not cheap and standards relating to pool hygiene, no matter how busy the park is must be addressed. The other issue of concern is the total lack of a handrail to enter the new pool, no regard for anyone who may not be completely able bodied and basic safety. The main pool does have excellent disabled access however, but for safety’s sake every pool should have at least a handrail rail for entry and exit. Our outcome was not great and we regret using the pools. Resulting ear infection, pain and discomfort plus doctor’s appointments and medication costs are the result of our use of the pools at the park, we won’t be back! Very disappointing.

We met friends with their caravan at this park and stayed in a "deluxe" two bedroom chalet. The park is very well maintained and there are plenty of amusements for kids, though in our case that wasn't applicable; I just mention it for the information of others. The laundry facilities were good, though there was some confusion about which dryer was connected to which coin machine as they were not individually labelled. Our chalet, though classed as deluxe was, we thought, rather basic and was not very roomy. There was no space in the main bedroom for suitcases: there was barely enough room to walk around the bed, and there was limited wardrobe space. We were there for a week and wanted to mostly unpack, so we used the second bedroom for that. The second bedroom was even more compact, with two single beds against the walls and bunks folded back above them. There was a small wardrobe in between the beds, but I cannot imagine where four people, even kids, would be able to store their clothes if they were there for more than a couple of days. The equipment in the chalet was good, with the usual amenities such as a stove with oven, microwave and a small TV. There were plenty of utensils and other appliances and we had everything we needed. The reverse cycle air conditioning worked well - as Berri was experiencing extremely low temperatures at the time we were thankful for the heating. Unfortunately the lounge was very tired and saggy. The main thing that bothered us about the chalet was the lack of privacy. They had block-out curtains for pulling across at night, but during the day people could see straight in because there were no net curtains or screening blinds on any of the windows. It was an issue in the main bedroom particularly (It didn't have curtains, just a roller blind), because if we rolled up the blind in the daytime, people walking past the back of the chalets (they did this quite often rather than use the road out the front) could look straight into the bedroom. We chose to keep the blind down during the day because we didn't want anyone looking in and it was very dark, of course. The photos on their website show net curtains on all the windows, but there are none on any of them now as far as I could see. We used the camp kitchen when barbecuing with our friends, and the kitchen nearest their caravan site did not have yellow lights so bugs were a big problem even though it was cold. We went to the Wednesday Pizza Night that they put on regularly, and were supplied with bases to add our own toppings then they cooked them for us. Had it not been so cold and windy it would've been very enjoyable, but you can't do anything about the weather. Overall this is a very nice holiday park, but as I have mentioned, there were some problems with the chalet. I could not imagine 6 people being comfortable in one of these units, particularly if they were there for an extended stay. On the other hand, I think our caravanning friends were very happy with

Absolutely 1st rate park, Friendly professional staff, Amenities spotless, Park well appointed with leisure facilities Camp kitchens of good size and of the same standard as the rest of the park Kiosk selling barista coffee and pizza, a cocktail bar! Superbly located but once on the park there really is no need to leave!

Comfortable and quiet in a great spot . The River is over the road and the Berri Hotel is a short walk away Lovely pool - a bit cold in September but we still had a few swims !!! Staff are very friendly and helpful and our 2 bed room superior cabin was clean and comfortable . Good balcony out the front with a table and seating . The Food Truck was our meal highlight - amazing !!! Beats the local Hotel !!

We have stayed here in the past, always our happy place when we’re in the area. Great family park with so many wonderful things to do. Great, clean amenities with fantastic water pressure. Perfect location opposite the river & walking distance to the hotel. Very helpful, friendly staff.
