Really liked this hotel. The common areas, pools and grounds are very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Staff for the most part were friendly and courteous (with the exception of the Trading Post).

I was there for the Twisted Stitches' annual needlepoint retreat. Always great!! The comraderie and relaxed nature of this retreat are especially appealing. The lcation offers places to walk, swim, or sit! The people are very friendly and the food is delicious with southwestern flare. Information re: the indigenous peoples is fascinating along with the art work and crafts people.

The overall ambiance was tranquil and relaxing. Rooms are updated and clean. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out is quick and easy. Pool areas are nice and spacious. There are several activities to choose from, either for free or an additional charge. The food in the restaurants and bar was quite delicious and served at the right temperature. On the downside, there is only one hot tub open to all guests and so for a hotel this size it gets very crowded or inaccessible. Some of the bar staff either get busy or a little chatty with each other, and don't come around as often as they should. Also, as recommended by the hotel keep your screen doors closed, especially if you are on the bottom floor, as we saw several bugs outside our door, but fortunately none in our room.

Went with my family, kids ranging from 3-16. Everyone had a great time! The property is beautiful and every staff member we encountered was extremely nice and helpful. They always gave extra information about things without us even having to ask! The pools and various activities were wonderful. I liked that the pools stayed open until 10:00 p.m. I definitely recommend taking a bike ride down to the stables to pet the animals. The smores at the fire pits each night was a family favorite. One thing I wish they had was more filtered water stations around the resort. There are ice machines all over, but I only found 1 filtered water station which was in the lobby. They do have water jugs and cups by the pool which was nice. All in all, great stay and I would definitely stay again.

Untrained staff, slow service, mediocre food, very poor value. Definitely not up to other high-end Hyatt resorts. A phone call to the property gets you to someone in another country, apparently, when and if they answer the telephone at all. Oddly understaffed and undertrained.

This is a beautiful resort and property with lots to do right on the property that was entertaining for me and my two daughters (8 and 13 years old). I would recommend booking a session with the Tamaya horse rescue for a lesson or ride and doing the classes. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay, even for one night. Enjoyed swimming and riding bikes with my daughters. Quiet and peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in great shape, the staff is amazing and it is very convenient for day trips to Santa Fe or to the Sandias. The facility did a great job with the recent re-model
