The hotel is very good, more than 20 minutes from Berlin city by S train. After buying the tickets on the platform, you must remember to plug in the machine next to it to check the time~ If it is a small group of 5 people, it is recommended to buy a team ticket~ more cost-effective~ The service staff is also very patient. We deducted 25 euros per room one or two days before check-in. We asked about things every day. The hotel staff explained to us very clearly. In contrast, the Ctrip staff showed their shortcomings. I only talk about things. Our own process: After discovering these deductions, we contacted Ctrip's customer service and responded to the question. Ctrip said to help us understand the situation. After a while, we replied to us. Afterwards, Ctrip called: 1 did not contact us hotel. 2 They can help us ask questions as friends. We are a little angry at the end. We are wondering why we are ”helping” as ”friends” to ask? Instead of being an official booking platform? We believe in Ctrip. However, we are not satisfied with the previous resolution of this matter. It is hoped that Ctrip can have a better communication and handling mechanism in handling timely problems in the future. I moved from another cheaper hotel in Berlin, because this hotel clearly states that they have Air Conditioning. They do NOT. They have an evaporative cooling system that is outdated and does NOT work at all. In response to complaints they just say 'we are eco friendly'. That's fine - but don't say you have AC. If I pay 220 Euros for a night in a hotel BECAUSE it is hot and I want AC, it better have AC. Read through the reviews....the manage is more concerned that people give them an accurate rating (manager often replies with 'it's a pity you only gave us 1 star'. How bout it's a pity I couldn't sleep because it was so bloddy hot in my room?! How bout your it's a pity your website description is wrong. Even on the night in question, one of the staff came to the room and verified that even the horrible 'cooling system' wasn't working. The manager, Sasha Braunstein, clearly doesn't get it and doesn't care. It was a miserable stay and they literally have the gall to sanctimoniously claim they are just being Environmentally friendly. If your website says you have AC, you better have it. What an outrage. The earth is warming....get a clue, people want AC. I could camp in a park and it would be cooler than the hot, humid, stuffy room at the Pentahotel.

Everything without a problem. Good breakfast. Elevator. Only a few parking spaces. You can park on the street. Pleasant surroundings of single-family houses. Perfect for a short stay. Quiet, no parties.

new place , weel designed , great staff, lovely design , very clean , very confortabile , good lication , 100% privacy in your apartament ,I didn't like : the fact the tv was beside and not in front of the bed and covered from the screen between the bed and the dining table , there is no bedside table on one side of the bed ,the wardrobe is too small for 2 people, I totally didn't like than in 4 days nobody come to clean the apartment even to change the towelss .

This is great if you stay in Berlin for a few days. It’s good that public transport is right outside the hostel. It’s a bit far from the main city so you will have to get a few public transport to get there. The beds are squeaky but comfortable enough. The television is in German which is expected. There is no rooms with a shower or toilet in them, so you will have to walk to the shower and toilet. It is a shared bathroom. You will need to give separate deposit if you need towels and utensils and to wash and dry your clothes. The deposit can only be made in cash. There are no bins in the room but the rooms do have a fridge and a locker and a table and chairs. The hostel is great for sleeping and then leaving the next day to do activities.

The hotel is clean, modern and well-staffed. What was missing for us was warmth and the expected level of hospitality. During our 5-day stay, nobody ever said hello, goodbye or communicated in any manner unless we asked a direct question. When I checked out, the only thing the receptionist said was to remind me I had borrowed an electrical adaptor and to return it. I travel frequently and expect hotels to be warm and welcoming. Also, when I checked in I was given no hotel information other than the E25 breakfast hours. I'm sure it's wonderful, but I since only have coffee, there is no reason to pay 25 euros. Because we didn't go to breakfast and the receptionist didn't tell us, we missed many features of the hotel we might have enjoyed. To further our disappointing stay, there was no printed hotel info in our room other than a book about the featured artist. I hate QR codes, but when I scanned the hotel's, it gave sp**** information. The hotel lobby isn't welcoming and I didn't go to the bar until my last night so was unaware of all the things Art'otel would have liked me to know. The magazine was interesting and beautiful. Why isn't there a copy in guest rooms? The local information and maps were available in the breakfast area, but we didn't go there and weren't offered them by hotel staff. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was the pictures of beautiful bathrooms with tubs. Sadly, the website fails to mention that tubs are only available in expensive suites. Our visit, while nice, was overpriced. We paid for hospitality and a good room, but only the room was up to the expected standards. Very disappointing.

Das Hotel wirbt als IBIS Potsdamerplatz, hat aber rein gar nichts damit zu tun. Ca. 1200m entfernt, also näher am Checkpoint Charlie als am Potsdamer Platz. Ärgerlich war das, weil ich eine schwere Unfallverletzung habe und mich echt quälen musste, die 1200m mit Gepäck zu laufen.. Dafür können die Mitarbeiter im Hotel nichts. Sie waren allesamt freundlich und bemüht. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer sind schlicht. Ist eben ein ”Budget” Hotel. Dafür war aber alles i.O. Das Frühstück ist preiswert und lecker, allerdings nicht besonders umfangreich. Für den Preis angemessen. Vom Hotel kommt man mit der S-Bahn gut weg und überall hin. Berlin eben.

Very convenient location, just 3 mins walk to Main Station. Signed up for member for free and received free city transportation travel card (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram, Bus, VBB). Breakfast at ground floor dining hall with variety of food. We enjoy the button mushroom stew with herbs, croissant is very good as well. Reception are friendly and helpful. No teabag, coffee and kettle in the room. Ground floor have bar, can ask for hot water from there. Room is clean and soundproof is super great even just right beside Main Station.

This is not my first time staying at A&O Berlin. I have been there prior and immediately after the pandemics too. During this time, the quality of the service has been steady and a good one. The staff rather amicable and prompt to help with any issue you may have. Sometimes things do not work as expected (coffee machine, contactless purchases) but they will guarantee your stay is a smooth one. Breakfast is abundant and provide several options. I only wish the coffee could be better, but all in all is not bad. Also, maybe rooms could do with a bit of cheering up colour, besides the ones provided by the curtains. What I like the most about this hostel is the consistency with the chain principles and the fact that you will find all you need for a good stay, even tissues!

By the time this incident happened, I have already completed a 4 days stay in the hotel and was willing to increase my stay. For that purpose, I went to Mrs. Hausweld and asked to please consult the availability and the price of the rooms for extra nights. In response, I was told that the final price, including the city tax for 3 additional nights would be 350 euros with breakfast included. Consequently, I was willing to go along with that reservation and requested to pay by card. Afterward, then Mrs. Hausweld offered me the POS terminal to go along with the payment, and the amount ascended to 419 euros. Due to that unexpected difference, I kindly asked for an explanation and was told that 419 euros were the final price, and if I was not happy with it I would need to leave the hotel immediately. As a result, I kindly refused to pay that amount and asked her to please consult the price for two nights instead of three. In response to that, the front desk manager told me that no more rooms were available for me and that I needed to check out now and leave the hotel. Following that conversation, I went on Booking.com and reserved a room for the same days, without breakfast, and surprisingly rooms were still available. Next, I went to the front desk and asked to please pay for my booking Mrs. Hausweld looked at me in an unfriendly manner and told me she could not find any reservation. After 5 minutes of searching, she could finally open my booking. Then, although I already provided a credit card in my booking, she asked me to show it to her because she was not believing that it was not mine. I answered that the card was in effect mine and offered her to have a look, but it did not have any numbers on it. So she got ahead to request me to write down my credit card details, including the CVV code, on a piece of paper as ”a security”. Afterward, I was asked again by her if I would like breakfast or not, despite I selected the no breakfast option on booking.com. A moment later I was offered the POS terminal to pay by card, which stated an amount 30 euros higher that the price I booked the room for on this site. Due to the reoccurrence of the same, previous situation again, I refused to pay and respectfully asked her why the price was higher again. Mrs. Hauweld answered in a very disrespectful manner that I asked her to have breakfast included and that I was confusing her again. After that situation, I kindly asked them to speak with her supervisor. She answered, that she had no supervisor and was the only person working in the hotel for the whole weekend. That experience left me in complete disbelief of her professionality and her being in that important role in the hotel. However, despite that bad experience with that particular staff member, I would like to note that the other front desk managers were very friendly and helpful at all times.
