The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is something between a hostel and a hotel. Quite noisy, and definitely needs some fixing up in places, e.g. curtains too small for the large windows. The TV in my room had limited channels. The breakfast was surprisingly good, but id recommend going early.

Very much a tale of “things can only get better …..” as the long weekend progressed. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and to be honest, they all were for the entirety. Especially helpful when asking about public transport. Unfortunately, we hit a hurdle straight away as our adjoining shower room was unusable, due to a sealant that was still drying. There was definitely a whiff of it for most of the weekend. However, the hotel staff let us shower in another room (which my Brothers-In-Law proceeded to stay in for the first night, as their room had no bedding). A bit of a random first day in all honesty, but we were given complimentary Breakfast as an apology. The Breakfast - surprisingly good! A few hot foods with a range of Cereals, Meats, Yoghurts and Breads. Fresh Orange Juice and hot drinks also provided, with a more than satisfactory Coffee Machine! No complaints really. The room - comfortable enough. Felt like our rooms and the adjoining shower room were huge and thus seemed empty. Not something I normally complain about, but it did diminish the character of the space. Liked the TV and channels available, as well as the free Sparkling Water. The bed was good although I was given two single duvets for a double. As a whole, there were a few minor issues but for what we paid and what we received as an apology, it’s hard to score any less than a four. The staff, Breakfast and comfort highly contributed towards this.

Very good location in Neukölln, peaceful area next to the mall Arcaden and Ubahn. Restaurants, spätis... all you need and more. Some of the hotel receptionist can't English, all of them ask for cash, instead of paying by card. I had a room on the backyard there's a lift, bit strange way to enter your room. The room was spacious, also for a couple. Everything's ok this far. I had to wake up in the middle of night, because of some party people came laughing and crying continuing the noisy party mood in corridor and their room. Next night I realized the paper walls cause a couple had a room next to mine. The most annoing noise came from the backyard, some people talked very load. I shut the window, unfortunately had not the remote control to shut their mouths. If the reception was in the same building, just go there to tell the problem. Yes, I had the telephone number... Anyway maybe just bad luck. Otherwise the hotel deserves 4/5.

The review for this hotel needed updating for 2022. The street and front of the hotel can be a little deceiving but do not judge a book by it’s cover. The welcome I received from the receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient. The receptionist guided me to the lift which is in the courtyard. My double room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. The kettle was definitely a plus. I did not have the breakfast so I cannot add comments. When I checked out I told the receptionist I would hopefully return and he replied “Awesome”! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Would recommend nearby: (1) The Muted Horn craft ale bar. (2) Chuckleheads Comedy Show (in English) on Thursday nights at Deriva Bar. Need to book free tickets on line.
