The receptionist is helpful. The environment is okay. It is accessible to many bars and cafes.

A good place to stay alone. There was a lobby on the first floor, so it was nice to use the internet and work with my laptop open. Breakfast is also good, European style.

Clean, smooth, excellent experience! The building is beautiful, and the surrounding neighborhood is so much fun and easy to navigate. I stayed in a private room and it was large, sunny, and clean with a good shower with hot water. The wifi is fast and the courtyard/porch area is very cute. I didn't eat the breakfast but it looked good. Check in and check out was easy, and the free luggage storage was a plus. As a solo female traveler I never once felt unsafe, which is the number one most important thing. The only way this was differentiated from a hotel stay was the mattress, but it is a hostel after all, so I wasn't expecting luxury. Far exceeded my expectations and I will absolutely return. Tip - Google maps took me the long way around but you can go up the stairs right by the Senefelderplatz U-bahn station.

Nice clean hostel in an ideal location but this review is dedicated to the Pfefferbett staff member Lisa. Her kindness and generosity made my trip. All staff are so welcoming but Lisa went the extra mile. Thank you. Will be recommending this hostel to fellow travellers.

Slept in a 6-bed dorm with my son (11) and daughter (17). Room rather small but was fine for 2 nights. Quiet enough (thanks to my mates), away from the street, nice view into the gardens. Superb breakfast for vegetarians and vegans with a lot of homemade bread spreads, dips and mueslis. Fresh fruits, bit of fresh veggies. Location super. Atmosphere in the hostel super friendly and humurous. Will definitely return.

I stayed 3 nights at the Pfefferbett Hostel in Berlin in December 2021. Check-in and check-out were smooth and the staff friendly. My dormitory was spotless with a locker to store my belongings. The lobby is great to meet people and play pool. They also have a bar with a good selection of drinks. I also appreciated the fireplace after a long day in the cold! Overall, superb value, I would definitely come back again!

Always a good address, everything is just right. Bravo, keep it up! The breakfast is excellent, the atmosphere pleasant and the people at reception are very accommodating! The rooms are also of a good standard. The location couldn't be better.

There were 9 of us and we stayed for one night. The hostel and rooms were clean and tidy, reception was friendly, helpful and open 24/7. Breakfast was extensive and good. Free WiFi and room cards that work for the lockers.

The hostel was super clean, cheap, good breakfast, soap in the bathroom, well located. The waitress was quite unfriendly and there was a dark-haired girl at the reception, who was stubborn and wouldn't let you talk. How little skill Germans have in customer service. If it hadn't been for these two people, perfect.

We spent four days here with 53 students and 4 colleagues. And it was totally worth it. The hostel is located in an old industrial building. Really beautiful. In addition, it is small-scale, with about 50 rooms. It is located near a metro station and about a 20-minute walk from the Berliner Dom. The welcome was very friendly and clear. After 10 p.m. it must be quiet in the corridors and in the rooms. Unfortunately, this was not checked very clearly. Many a night was restless in the hostel. But hey, I could live with that. The rooms are almost hotel-worthy. Spacious and very neat and clean. Everything is there what you expect. Downstairs in the lobby you can have a drink (prices are low!) or play a game of pool. For two nights I had a lot of trouble with parties in surrounding buildings or outside near the hostel. The hostel itself will not be able to do much about this, but it would like to be mentioned. The noise pollution lasted until the late hours. With the windows closed it was fine. The breakfast is really very good. A wide choice of sandwiches, toppings, drinks, yoghurt/curd. Really nothing wrong with that at all. Definitely recommend this hostel!!

Very nice, clean and welcoming hostel. The common room is interesting with the bar and a free pool table, a very nice internal courtyard with hammocks, deckchairs and other comfortable seats. The space in front of the hostel is also good with a ping pong table, table football and several tables outside. In the evening it also becomes a meeting point for kids outside the hostel. The rooms are very clean as are the bathroom and showers which are fantastic, both in temperature and water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet and safe neighborhood, the hostel is a 20 second walk from the metro station and the stop is two stops from Alexanderplatz. Highly recommended
