Positiv: - Lage in Kreuzberg, nahe Berlin Mitte - nettes Personal, besonders die Leute hinter der Bar - Frühstück und Personal im Frühstücksbereich topp - Sauberkeit Negativ: - sehr, sehr kleines Zimmer mit entsprechend kleinem Bad Wo kommen die 4 Sterne her? Das ist mir ein Rätsel!!

Great location, clean hotel.
Great central location for the first time exploring Berlin. Everything was very clean and seemed newly updated. The staff was super helpful. We opted against the breakfast buffet since it seemed a little pricy but we did go one time for it paying separately and it had a great variety of breakfast options.

The first thing that you notice is that public area such as the foyer and lifts smell of smoke. However - great location.

Wir waren am Wochenende als große Delegation in diesem Hotel und sind mehr als enttäuscht. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir von den Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption äußerst unfreundlich empfangen. Auf die höfliche Nachfrage, ob wir unser Gepäck bis zur Verfügbarkeit unserer Zimmer dort abstellen könnten, wurde uns nur widerwillig oder gar nicht geantwortet. Stattdessen kam eine patzige Bemerkung: “Wollen sie meinen Job hier machen.” Wir blieben freundlich und fragten weiter nach dem Check-in-Zeitpunkt, woraufhin wir nur widerwillig aufgefordert wurden, unser Gepäck abzugeben. Der Umgang des Personals war durchweg respektlos. So wurde einem unserer Kollegen die Tasche förmlich aus der Hand gezogen, als er noch sein Portemonnaie herausnehmen wollte. Die Behandlung, die wir als Delegation erfuhren, wurde zunehmend abwertender, und uns wurde schließlich klar, dass dies offenbar mit unserer queeren Identität zusammenhing. Für ein Hotel mit vier Sternen ist eine derartige Diskriminierung und mangelnder Respekt absolut inakzeptabel. Wir werden aufgrund dieser Erfahrung definitiv nicht wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen, der auf einen respektvollen und professionellen Umgang Wert legt. Ein großes Lob für den Mann an der Bar - der jedes Jahr immer unserer Highlight war!
