Berlin Hotels with Gym

Located in central of Berlin, this is probably the tallest hotel in town. They have a really nice view over the city. Very convenient with metro and all the restaurants and shops around. Rooms are clean but if you live high up, it’s hard to get mobile signal. Wifi doesn’t work so well when a lot of people are using it. One of the biggest issue if you live higher than 20th floor, the elevator won’t stop at your floor for so long. Not sure how the elevators work, you may have to wait 10 mins for getting down to lobby at busy hours (etc lunch/ dinner hour) Check in was easy and quick, and staff is friendly also.

Really nice hotel, spacious and luxurious. Comfortable and clean. Very near to the station as well. Will definitely Be back. It’s just that the tourism tax at the end was a surprise since I wasn’t informed about it

I spent one night in this 4-star establishment located near Potsdam Square and well served by public transport. When I arrived, the reception was very cold, really not up to what is expected of this type of establishment, The hotel also needs a major facelift. Regarding the services offered, I was able to take advantage of the sauna but its opening hours are very limited (from 5 to 8 p.m. only), As for the bedroom, it was quite large, the bathroom had a bath and a shower, the bedding is of good quality but the cushions need to be changed as soon as possible (too soft ).. The breakfast was of good quality.

We arrived to a friendly welcome at this lovely hotel . Excellent room, well appointed with a modern ensuite bathroom . Breakfast was a well laid out buffet with plenty of choice . Staff were once again very friendly and courteous with pots of tea or coffee served at the table . The hotel was well placed for sightseeing Berlin and we would thoroughly recommend it if that is the purpose of your visit . The foyer has a unique and fascinating light display which is a lovely feature to watch in the evening with a quiet drink . We understand that there is a pool and gym facility but unfortunately we didn't have time to visit that section of the hotel during our three night stay .

Everything was perfect until the morning of departure, when the service staff knocked on the room door at 8.30 in the morning to tell me to check out because they had to clean, although on Booking, check-out was provided until 12 o'clock.It somewhat erased all the charm until then.

The location is extremely advantageous. It is located in Potsdamer Platz in the center of Berlin, so the safety factor is very high (unlike East Berlin and other places where it is very chaotic). It is a one-person trip! Highly recommend this place; you can walk to the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and Brandenburg after saving. Famous attractions include the Gate and the Berlin Film Museum. The room area is very large, starting at 40m². We recommend the king bed room with a view. The window faces the main street and the scenery and lighting are very good. Breakfast quality is very good!

The location of Hilton Berlin is fantastic and the exterior of the hotel plus the lobby is very beautiful. Very walkable location with many surrounding dining and sightseeing options. Overall, housekeeping was good. The rooms run fairly small and look dated, so value for money is not that great. Bathroom is clean but not very well-maintained, especially the toilet. The check-in concierge staff were ok but I would expect friendlier and more proactive service for the price we were paying and being a diamond member as well. The staff who was a blonde lady with glasses checked me in and out and was the friendliest staff i encountered during my stay. Rarely did the other staff smile or greet us when we walked past them and they generally did not have great customer service skills, and generally just unfriendly. The front door concierge and door staff were much friendlier and greeted us more than the check-in staff. I also had a very terrible experience with the night security staff when my friend and I came back to the hotel around 6 am after a night out. We walked in and were stopped by a man who was not wearing any uniform, or any attire to signal he was working at the Hilton, and in regular clothes, he was a bit hard to understand because he had a thick accent, and I thought he might be another patron at the hotel or a taxi driver, so I politely smiled at him and said “no thank you” and walked towards the elevator. He got extremely angry, began shouting at me, and said he was a worker there and showed me his keys with a Hilton keychain. He wanted to verify that we had a room key. While we were taking out the key, he was calling me rude and dismissive and that I was a terrible person. It was so jarring because there was no need to be that rude, he was acting like I shooed him away when I’m reality it was a miscommunication. He then went into the back of the concierge to complain about me loudly, didn’t even wait till I was out of earshot. It was hard to identify him as a staff, much less security, and I didn’t need to be scolded like a child. Overall, very unprofessional and made the remainder of my stay feel much more sour. I can look past the dated rooms because I know that is out of the staff’s control at that point of time. But unprofessional and unfriendly staff make the value of my stay and diamond member status much worse.

I was attending a conference in Berlin and stayed at the Adlon Kempinski Hotel, adjacent to the Brandenburg Gate, close to the Reichstag Building, and not too far from the Victory Column. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room is not too big and relatively compact, but the facilities are complete, the bedding is excellent, and you can have a good rest. The breakfast conditions are very good, with complete dishes, rich fruits and elegant environment.

During a stay I found that hotel has a huge problem with hot water, very frequent was only cold water. Windows are not isolages and you lissen from outside all also wind a cold from outside, heating is only via climatisation.

On checking in, we were assigned a room, went to our and it had somebody else's suitcase in it. We went back to the reception and got it sorted. But as two tourists who didn't speak the lingo, we were lucky to have a German friend with us to help. However, the staff seemed unconcerned about the error, indicating this might happen as not as much of a one off error as you might like to think. Our friend was also told we were lucky to be given another room as the hotel was overbooked, and we could easily have been told to go elsewhere. With this in mind, I'd recommend not paying in advance, as we don't know how easy it difficult it might have been to get a refund in that situation, especially as we'd used a booking agent not direct. Thankfully the second room we were given was nice, spacious, clean and comfortable but we did feel nervous that someone else might be allocated our room when we were out. That didn't happen, as far as we know. The hotel is conveniently located for access to the city centre, close to various train stations a short walk away and a selection of local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent! Didn't use the gym facilities but they looked good. The hotel bar was well stocked and friendly, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating although it did seem to close early.
