It was a nice big room, the bed with four-poster. The receptionists were doing their job properly. We only stayed one night, did not use all the facilities, such as bar, swimming or gym which there were available, only the restaurant. The bed is too soft, my husband was sank into it. He did not have a good night sleep.

Super keen to get your booking but as soon as there’s an issue/problem you are ignored. I base this solely on my own experience but, of course, that’s all I have to go on. There are so many alternatives out there to choose from so this hotel just doesn’t deserve your custom!

So what an absolutely beautiful hotel , the grounds were stunning , the hotel was stunning and the area it was in was stunning! We booked a twin room and there was an event on so they put us as far away as they could so we didn’t get disturbed and I can honestly say I didnt hear anything. Easy to park loads of room . The leisure facilities were wonderful, the pool was a perfect temperature and the jacuzzi was just heaven ! The steam room did what it was supposed to although I did feel like I was breathing fire from my nostrils 🤣 We accidentally opened the gym door , it looked nice but that wasn’t for us 😁 The shower in the room was a rainfall one and it was lovely . Our room was near a road but being so far out we didn’t hear much . The breakfast was delicious, the sausages were absolute beauty’s , it filled us up for the whole day and saved us money on our day out 🥰 The ONLY bad point was the heat , there’s no air con , they ran out of fans and it was absolutely boiling ! The window had a safety thing on so we could just about squeeze our nose through but it was like sleeping in the depths of hell ! We had a lovely day trip planned the next day but we hardly slept because of how hot it was 🥺 I can’t fault the hotel other than that because it was amazing and I’d definitely stop again but wouldn’t stay during a heatwave , I’d go for cooler months .

We booked a queen suite however the room we were given was small with small double bed it wasn't what we booked. The room did have character but it wasn't a suite. There was a wedding on and an event which we were notified via email the day before. The breakfast in the morning was a buffet which wasn't great which is a shame because previous reviews rate the breakfast. We did enjoy the leisure facilities and the lad on pool reception was very welcoming and attentive.

We arrived on the Saturday afternoon & immediately checked into Room 33. On opening the windows, on what was one of the hottest days this summer, we realised we were next to the road…heavy traffic whizzing past all afternoon. However, due to the heat & tiredness after our long journey we slept for a couple of hours with the windows open! The room was quite small & very warm but adequate for our needs for one night. The family party in the marquee & grounds was a great success, fabulous buffet & live band until midnight. The family all met up the following morning for breakfast which was superb. Well cooked full English breakfast with pastries & toast served by some lovely, friendly young staff members. They were all extremely helpful, efficient & a credit to the Hotel. We checked out @ 10.30am & headed home after a lovely, memorable time @ Nailcote Hall. Thank you to everyone concerned.
