Super romantische plek. De combinatie van duin bos zee en een heel apart huis vond ik top. Het personeel is echt sympathiek... en behulpzaam. Hier gaan wij zeker terug komen. Je bent op een soort kasteel op een heuvel met beneden de zee. Lijkt wel Zuid Frankrijk.

Vandaag met mijn dochter heerlijk gewandeld langs het strand en de duinen van Bergen. We begonnen bij Huize Glory met een heerlijke kop gember thee. Iedere keer als we daar zijn voelt het als thuiskomen, de rust, prachtige vergezichten en het pand met de rijke historie. De bediening is altijd erg attent, het eten heerlijk, met een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Na enkele uren gewandeld te hebben liepen we weer binnen en gelijk werd er gevraagd hoe onze wandeling was. We bestelden kroketten met brood en een ciabatta met tonijnsalade. Het brood bij de kroketten was heerlijk vers, de ciabatta kon ik met gemak aan beide zijden beleggen. Beter word het bij mij niet, aandacht, even attent zijn en een heerlijk broodje op een schitterende locatie. We hopen er nog vaak te kunnen komen en vooral ook op dat heerlijke terras waar de serene rust overheerst.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel mit historischem Charme. Wunderbar sonnige Terrasse mit schönem Blick zum Meer. Ruhig gelegen in/bei den Dünen. Ein kleiner netter Spaziergang und man ist am Strand. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ich hatte ein nettes Zimmer in dem ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt habe. Angenehme Frühstücksatmosphäre. Ich habe nichts vermisst. Ich war bereits mehrmals in Bergen aan Zee. Hier hat es mir sehr gut gefallen und ich komme mit Sicherheit wieder.

Huize Glory is een bijzondere plek met een eigen, uniek, nostalgisch karakter. Gerund door een groep zeer betrokken en vriendelijke mensen. Schitterend gelegen in de Bergense duinen.

Niet standaard maar zeer comfortabel
Bijzonder Hotel nog in klassieke staat dat zorgvuldig wordt onderhouden. Hier en daar gedateerd, maar dat geeft juist de charme aan dit bijzondere hotel wat -gelukkig- niet bij een hotelketen hoort. De omgeving is magnifiek. Wat opvalt is de stilte in en buiten het hotel (althans eind november). Een aanrader als je een bijzondere, niet standaard, ervaring wil.
