Nice hotel with good service! Convenient to visit the city centre

Facilities: The facilities are very new and have switches with delayed lighting and extinguishing functions. The heating in the public areas and rooms is very high, and you can wear a single coat indoors. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, very satisfied Environment: The location is very good. It is a short walk to the top of the mountain and not far from the core of the old city in Shangcheng District. Service: The front desk and restaurant guys are great, very humorous and talkative.

Impressive hotel and its luxury restaurant

A perfect location for visiting the Citta Alta in a modern and welcoming hotel. A short walk to both Citta Alta and the funicular to San Viglio. Front desk staff professional and helpful with on the mark recommendations. The room was good sized, comfortable bedding, and very clean. Breakfast was generous and the staff eager to please and gave me a chance to practice my emerging Italian. Parking very convenient and able to leave our car on day of deparature for further explorations in Citta Alta. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.--We did find arriving with GPS challenging since GPS insists on guiding one through ZTL zones.

The Le Funi is a lovely boutique feel hotel in a great location handy for all the attractions of Citta Alta. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and nicely appointed with a very nice shower. We had a stunning view of Bergamo from our window and the street below was quiet. The breakfast room is snug but appealing with a good selection of continental style foods. The jewel in the crown at Le Funi is without doubt the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. They really take pride in their job and it shows. A truly lovely hotel with superb staff. Looking forward to revisiting in the future.

We stayed in le funi for 2 nights of our honeymoon. The location is vey good in the old town with a view over the lower city provided your room was to the front of this small hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. However I don’t believe it represented good value considering we had to pay daily for parking on the property and our room overlooked this car park. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast buffet choice I thought was not great. All in all ok.

Spent one night at the the Hotel Le Funi in Bergamo and I can honestly say it is one of the best hotels I have stayed with. Staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Room was immaculate with a great range of facilities. Bathroom was large and featured a fantastic shower. Location is a few minutes walk from the old town and right next to the upper funicular. Hotel also has a great restaurant next door and we enjoyed a great meal on the terrace. Overall, excellent experience start to finish.

A small boutique hotel not far from the upper funicular. Staff lovely. Room clean and stylish. Comfy bed. Room temp perfect: had a great sleep. Breakfast basic but all good. Would recommend. The only criticism was that there was no wardrobe to hang my clothes.

This hotel is just off the beaten track but still only minutes walk to the bustling and beautiful Alta Citta. Room was a very high standard, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was very good, but a special mention for the staff who were all very professional, friendly and knowledgable. Will stay for longer next time. Grazie 🫶🏼👍🏼

Beautiful hotel with great staff. Attention to detail, immaculate cleaning, very good location. They also have a restaurant with a nice view and are situated next to the funicular (no noise) and 5 min walking from the historical city center

Amazing hotel. All the staff made me feel so welcome and as a solo traveller it was such a lovely experience. The room had everything I could want or need. Also as a ceoliac they had gluten free bread such a bonus at breakfast. The hotel is situated on a hill with lovely views. The vehicular train is just round the corner to go to the castle with more superb views over the city. The staff also recommend different restaurants for me try. All of which were good. You defo need to try the ice cream so good. All in all i had the such a good timr and a lot of walking to see everything possible in 3 days. I would give this hotel 5 🌟

Nice hotel in a perfect location in Citta Alta! Beautiful view from the hotel. Breakfast was good, the staff really nice and helpful. Easy to get from the airport to the hotel with bus. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfectly situated close to Citta Alta and San Vigilio, very well run by a group of friendly staff, lovely room, huge breakfast spread, and all overseen by Paolo, who we met when we exited our taxi and had a great conversation with... The restaurant that leases on site has closed, which we didn't MI d as was nice and quiet, and you can still get a drink on the terrace. We'll surely be back.
