What a terrific find. The best restaurant we have found in Albania. Lovely venue on a atmospheric laneway with lights,, vibes and even a few neighbourhood cats. The degustation menu is a wonderful way to explore diversity of the Albanian cuisine. Ten dishes were more than enough. The raki was intriguing and the local wine very good. Extremely well priced and the owners were very attentive give with their service. A short walk across the historical bridges of teh town but well worth it. Very special night to remember. Amalia Homemade Food is an absolute gem for anyone seeking authentic, heartwarming meals made with care and love. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The attention to detail in both the service and the food is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always eager to make sure you have a great experience. You can tell they care deeply about their customers.

Wij hebben hier s avonds gegeten. Geweldig. In de kleine tuin en in het steegje staan een stuk of acht tafeltjes, waar het menu van de dag wordt geserveerd. We kregen 12 verschillende traditionele gerechtjes. Van gevulde aubergine tot een frisse salade en van varkensvlees gevuld met een pittige kaas tot een zalig dessert en twee soorten raki. Allemaal lekker vers en homemade. De familie geeft op alle gerechtjes een korte toelichting en doet er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat je een leuke, bijzondere avond hebt. Wij zaten in het steegje en dat was romantisch aangekleed met sfeerverlichting. De rekening bedroeg 32 euro (inclusief een halve liter wijn). Echt een koopje. Dikke fooi gegeven, want dat hadden deze mensen echt verdiend! Aanrader!!!!

Superleuk hotelletje op een prachtige plek. Bij aankomst was alles top geregeld en konden we gemakkelijk bij onze kamer. Na het avond eten kregen we nog wat hapjes en raki's op het huis om de dag mee af te sluiten op het binnenpleintje. De volgende ochtend werden we verast met een enorm uitgebreid ontbijt met veel zelfgemaakte producten en vers fruit. Ik zou het iedereen aanraden om hier te gaan eten of het verblijf hier te boeken.

We stayed as a group of 4 in this beautiful traditional refurbished Berat house.Rooms were nicely decorated. Calm area. Welcoming kind host. Excellent breakfast . We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Peter was an amazing host. I totally enjoyed my two nights stay here. The room was clean and modern. Peter makes sure there's tea, coffee, Raki, and snacks available all day. Guest have access to the microwave and bottled water. I was totally wowed when he made himself available to take me to the bus station. Like I said, amazing host!

Un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel, de belles chambres impeccables rénovées avec beaucoup de goût par un architecte. Un petit déjeuner somptueux. Petit hôtel idéalement situé dans une ruelle pittoresque de Berat. Hôte extrêmement chaleureux avec qui l'on sympathise vite.
