Perfect location in the historic center of Berat. The hotel is a group of old houses with typical decoration. We stayed in a room located in the so-called museum. Typical decor. Bed not very comfortable, but pleasant. Good bathroom. Windows with fabulous views of the river and the other bank of Berat. Please note that access to these rooms is via a steep slope. Difficult to carry luggage. If you have difficulty getting around, do not stay in these rooms. Street parking, with only 3 reserved spaces. If you don't arrive early, parking will be a big problem. The reception is in the restaurant. Good welcome. Friendly guy who showed us the parking spaces and accompanied us to the room carrying part of the luggage. Typical breakfast from the region. It's a plate with typical Berat products. Not very common. A little different from the usual Western breakfasts. The location is perfect. Close to all the attractions of this beautiful city. The climb to the castle can be a little difficult if you have trouble walking. You can always take a taxi In short: Excellent typical hotel, with good facilities.Excelent location Not advisable if you have locomotion problems

The location is fabulous. We stayed in one of the "museum" rooms that is above and separate from the restaurant and main hotel with exceptional views, especially at night. Parking was on the street below (in one of only 2 spaces reserved by the hotel). Please bear in mind that it is a very steep climb (up steps then a narrow cobbled path) to get to these rooms, so getting cases/bags up/down, or even just walking, can be quite a challenge - but worth it overall! We also appreciate that the room style is that of time past... But the wires hanging from the TV could do with a tidy up!

Ein Hotel, das sich seinen Charakter noch bewahrt. Das Ansel liegt an der einzigen, tagsüber viel befahrenen Uferstraße. Nachts dagegen kaum Verkehr, wir haben ruhig geschlafen. Wir hatten ein zauberhaftes, traditionell belassenes Zimmer im Museumshaus mit einem tollen Ausblick. In eine kleine Kammer passte sogar ein modernes Bad mit Dusche. Der Wirt erzählte halb stolz, halb seufzend, dass er die Denkmalauflagen beachtet. Das Team ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dusche im Bad hat weder Vorhang noch Tür, die Klobrille war wackelig und lose.

Quarto muito simpático, acolhedor e confortável. Casa de banho extremamente pequena. O hotel destingue-se pela limpeza. Bom pequeno almoço, nem típico, com qualidade. Funcionários simpáticos. O estacionamento é um problema devido à localização.

Hotel un po' arroccato e tipico, ristorante dell' hotel molto buono, colazione ricca e parcheggio riservato su richiesta. La camera tutta in pietra creava un'atmosfera davvero incantevole. A due passi dal centro e da tutti i ristoranti, è stata un'ottima scelta

Hotel situato nella zona storica di Berat, fronte fiume. Si raggiunge tramite una ripida scala che conduce alla zona alta del quartiere di Mangalem. La stanza dove abbiamo alloggiato era arredata in stile ottomano, con pietra e legno intarsiato, sufficientemente spaziosa. Aria condizionata molto buona ma posizionata in modo non ottimale. Colazione superlativa, servita al tavolo dal personale gentilissimo: marmellate di datteri e di fichi, miele, frittata preparata al momento, girella ai datteri, formaggi tipici. L'albergo dispone di pochi posti auto che si riempiono abbastanza presto e pertanto abbiamo parcheggiato la macchina nel parcheggio sotterraneo che si trova a circa 500 m (costo per una notte circa otto euro). Abbiamo anche provato il ristorante che serve pietanze della tradizione di ottima qualità (polpette speziate, fergese) con vista stupenda sulla città illuminata. Consigliato!

Nice people, good food, great location, nice view on old town of berat, the 1000 windows 😄 - with the family on summer vacations - we enjoyed to eat inside during very hot wheather, it served as an adequate rest and energizer for the afternoon - so we recoomend

Hotel pequeño, sencillo y con mucho encanto, con maravillosas vistas de Gorica, uno de los barrios históricos de Berat, la “ciudad de las mil ventanas “. Excelente ubicación en el centro de Berat, en Mangalem, otro de los barrios históricos. El hotel es una antigua casa otomana rehabilitada. Es de destacar la amabilidad y simpatía del personal. El desayuno en la terraza con las espectaculares vistas, magnifico. Totalmente recomendable.
