A traditional Japanese-style hotel. The outdoor hot spring water is milky white. The hotel is very quiet. You can get off at Alum Station, which is very close to the station. If you stay in Beppu for two nights, you can consider staying here. Breakfast and dinner are sumptuous

The hot spring is a cloudy sulfur spring. The indoor baths are a rock bath and a cypress bath, and one is also drinkable. In the open-air bath, I listened to the chirping of birds and was surrounded by the scent of sulfur and flowers. There is a shop nearby called Okamotoya Shop, which is famous for its hell-steamed pudding, and you can get a voucher to use the hot springs* there. Also, pudding is served as dessert for dinner. The food was delicious both in the evening and in the morning with a high class atmosphere. It is conveniently located near the bus stop. Since it is located on a hill, the view from the room is also wonderful. The room feels a little old, but the quality of the hot spring makes up for it.
