We had a room with an open-air bath. The room was spacious and the hot spring was great. The staff were kind and polite, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time ^_^ And above all, the rice was delicious! thank you very much!

At first, I was a little worried about the location, but it wasn't a problem as it was on a bus route and could be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. It was very comfortable and nice as there were many amenities and restaurants nearby. If I were to review the accommodation, it was by far the best. I really liked that the manager was friendly and cheerful, and he could speak some English, so it was easy to communicate. The private hot springs and large public baths were all really great, and the water was so good that I really want to go again. The room was spacious and nice, and I thought it would be uncomfortable because I thought there was no private shower room, but it was very comfortable as there was a private shower room and massage chair. This is an accommodation I would really like to recommend to my friends. I had a great time.

Although it is an inn, the building is old, so it is a traditional inn in Beppu. The location is in the center of Kannawa Onsen, and the parking lot is free, so I think it's better to use it by car. The meals are traditional kaiseki cuisine, so there's nothing to write home about, but there's nothing wrong with it. The hot spring is also a chloride spring, so it warms you up, and the family bath that you can enter freely is the best point of this ryokan. Also, the temperature control is good for Kannawa Onsen, it was neither hot nor cold, and the temperature was really good. The most disappointing thing was amenity goods such as toothbrushes. The towels and toothbrushes that you can take home with you are what lowers the rating of the onsen ryokan. I think it would be better to change the manufacturer of the toothbrush to a good quality towel at the front desk, explaining not to bring the towel home.
