Maart 2022 deze accomodatie bezocht. Was een heerlijke ervaring, ondanks het feit dat het seizoen pas net open is en we de enige gasten waren. De acommodatie ligt schitterend, in heuvelachtig terrein met prachtige uitzichten. Het buitenterrein is erg fraai, kleinschalig en prachtig afgewerkt. De appartementen zijn sober, maar voldoen. Paar kleine zaken om mee rekening te houden: bedden zijn redelijk hard en tot aan het voorjaar kan het 's avonds best koud en vochtig zijn in het appartement. Verwarming via een Airco apparaat voldoet dan net niet om het behaaglijk te maken. Verder prima. Service kan ik niet veel over zeggen, het restaurant was gesloten, alleen de eigenaresse was ip aanwezig. Die was zorgzaam en kwam dagelijks een lekker ontbijt bezorgen. Belangrijk pluspunt van deze accomodatie is de geografische ligging. Ondanks het feit dat het zeer rustig ligt is in een straal van 25-30 km heel veel te zien. We hebben bezocht: Silves, Alvor, Lagos, Sagres, Luz, Portimao, Bordeira, Carvoeiro. Aanbevolen!

Fantastisch lokatie, boven op een berg maar goed bereikbaar. Het is er rustig en vredig met mooie tuinen en zwembaden. Je hebt maximale privacy. Accommodatie is netjes en compleet. Er is voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Wandelen naar de stuwdam is een aanrader. De dorpen en stadjes in nabijheid bieden volop strand, boottochten, winkelvertier en bars en restaurantjes. Marcelino’s kip in Odiáxere is echt heel lekker.

Zalig rustig, in het groen, met enkel fluitende vogeltjes (en de superlieve huiskat) als gezelschap. Onze kamer was ruim, comfortabel en kraaknet, met kitchinette, veel opbergruimte, een goed bed en goede kussens. Een privéterras met hangmat en 2 zwembaden met ligstoelen om te luieren. In de kelder wat entertainment (snooker- en pingpongtafel) voor de mindere dagen en leesvoer (ook in het Nederlands) aan de honesty bar. De eigenaresse is vriendelijk, rechtuit met gevoel voor humor, en probeert het haar gasten zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Wij komen er zeker nog eens terug!

+ Beautifull surroundings and pools. + clean. - Outdated "antique" furniture. - In the bathroom it smels like open sewer. - Hardly any water pressure and warm water for 2-3 mins. - kitchen tools are very cheap, old and broken. - On your patio you can only relax on back-breaking metal bistro chairs. - No towels at the pool. - Breakfast / bar area were closed (which ****** cause the place is very remote). - Very bad wifi Owner told us she wanted to sell the place and not invest anymore. She rather drives her hummer around in Lagos. I was planning to give 2-3 stars but that was before my girlfriend kindly asked for better chairs at our patio (cause my back started to hurt after sitting for a week on those metal torture devices) and the owner told her in an impolite way this was not possible (while better chairs were available and our neighbours even had comfortable chairs). Such a small request.. For this I am giving a 1 star review. P.s. we had a studio with a kitchenette don't know about the other rooms.

From arriving at the Hotel we knew this was going to be just what we needed We were greeted by Elizabet who showed us to our accommodation a beautiful, immaculately clean two storey rustic room There was everything we needed and Elizabet was so welcoming and friendly The pools were lovely and looked out across the valley - the views from high up were amazing - it was quiet and tranquil really could not have asked for more to rest and relax The cleanliness of the whole resort was second to none There was no option for breakfast -this would have been better - Elizabet explained she did not have enough staff Facilities were provided in the accommodation although this was not a full functional kitchen as advised by Tui ( who we booked through) It was very peaceful apart from the couple next door who kept moving furniture !! Lagos was easily accessible by car about 15 minutes where there were plenty of restaurants and a couple of big supermarkets Loved this place
