The Inn was recently awarded TheKnot Best of Weddings 2025, TheKnot Hall of Fame, and 2025 WeddingWire's Couple's Choice Awards and with good reason....although my recent trip to the Inn did not include a wedding, it was without a doubt an exceptional time of warmth, rest, delicious food and accommodations for my family. The staff is caring and attentive. If you ever dreamed of the perfect, quintessential visit to an Inn in Vermont this is the place to go..... a time and place to reconnect with your loved ones without the distraction of big and small screens.....we played games with our grandchildren, took them sledding on the best sledding hill in Arlington and laughed until we were in tears. And when the day was done, we ventured to the warmth and comfort of our beautifully appointed rooms......we are beyond grateful for the treasured memories of this magical place in Vermont.....

I wanted to treat myself while visiting family and the suite did not disappoint! Much better value than the cheaper options in the area. This place is charming and very, very clean. The staff made me feel right at home and accomdated all my needs. Thank you for having me!

Beautiful location with hiking trails right on the property. We had an amazing dinner and wonderful breakfast. Be sure to climb up to Chimney Rock for great views. This would be a nice venue for a wedding or simply a getaway. Manchester VT is a short drive away.

We were at the inn for a wedding. Everything worked out so well! The staff were attentive and helpful. The inn was comfortable and festive. The food was delicious. It just was a perfect perfect event. Thanks to all who helped make the event so memorable.

We have been going to the West Mountain Inn for about 40 years and it never disappoints. Great meals and a super relaxing environment. The staff is always helpful and cheerful. A number of trails, near the Battenkill for fishing and lots of tourist attractions.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary at this lovely location. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Dinner was outstanding with very attentive wait staff. My filet mignon and my husband’s halibut was presented beautifully and tasted as good. Breakfasts were delicious with a variety of menu items. It snowed overnight and our car was cleaned off!

I have stayed at the West Mountain Inn at least 5 times prior to my last visit and the stay always makes me and my wife happy. The rooms and inn is quaint and the staff is very nice. Dining there is also very good. I would highly recommend it. Take time to visit Southern Vermont Arts Center while in the area.
