Spent two lovely nights in a recently renovated upstairs queen room with kitchenette. The room was lovely, and despite being close to the main road was very quiet, thanks to triple glazing. Checking in and out was a breeze and our hosts were fantastic. The motel itself is within an easy stroll of central Bendigo, and nearby are three pubs, The National, The Foundry and The Golden Vine. All offering great meals

What a lovely motel right in the Heart of Bendigo in close proximity to everything within walking distance. The staff were amazing and so very warm and friendly. We wanted for nothing and the accommodation had everything you could want or need. It is right behind the central Deborah goldmine and the talking tram. We had a great sleep and the double glazed windows made it extremely quiet. If you are going to be staying in Bendigo, I highly recommend this motel. We had no complaints and had a wonderful stay.

I’d drives over a few hundreds kms and arrived an hour or so prior to check-in time. I was happy to just park the car & leave luggage until check-in time, however Justin checked if the room was ready and I was able to check-in then & there. That’s one of the benefits with booking with the property directly - you’re showing support, and my room rate was actually lower than websites that scan for the best price. For me, I really appreciated the secure parking - parking is locked come evening but you have your own access to come and go as you like after hours. I parked for the whole time and walked pretty much to all the areas I needed to. The motel is approx 900m to 1km from the fountain in town which is sort of considered the centre of town. I walked to the cathedral, art gallery, botanic garden, Hargreaves St Mall and more! You can order a continental or cooked breakfast to be silenced to your room. Adjacent to the motel is the National Hotel which serves bistro bar/pub type meals. There’s the bar area but a separate bistro, dining area. Good quality food and just an easy option for dinner to be able to collapse back into bed after a day of walking & exploring. The only thing to note is the tourist Bendigo Tramways depot is on one side of the motel. It’s only one tram but just note, you can hear it when it trundles to & from the depot. When I travel to Bendigo again, I will happily stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic motel. Exceptional service. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t be deterred by the main road as the motel is triple glazed and whisper quiet. One of the best motels we’ve ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean with beautiful linen and towels and a stunning bathroom. Super comfortable beds and a huge room. Above and beyond when the delightful owner even offered us assistance with doing a car transfer for the rail trail! We had 2 e-bikes with us and there was no issue in ensuring that they were able to be kept secure. In addition, the entire property is secured overnight, with easy access in and out for guests. Close to everything. We hope to return to Bendigo at some point and will definitely stay at the Central Deborah Motel again.

Highly recommend this motel. It is clean, organised and very well run. Quality linen, comfortable bedding, easy and secure parking, great location. Easy stroll to the Bendigo town centre from here. The balcony room is spacious with a lovely view of the trees.

Lots of things to really like about Central Deborah Motel….from the friendly and welcoming owners to the quiet, neat, warm and spotlessly clean rooms. Outside there are nice little spots to enjoy your breakfast in the sun! The overnight secure car park is a bonus. Right next door is the Cental Deborah Gold Mine to explore and the Bendigo Trams to ride. Excellent place to stay next time you’re in Bendigo!

The layout of the room was very practical and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nicely roomy. Location wise, it is right next door to the Central Deborah Gold Mine (this does not equate to any noise) and the Talking Vintage Tram. Across the road is the famous Beechwood Bakery (must visit) and the National Hotel. We caught the tram, which is hop on, hop off and saw all we wanted in a day. “Ingrid” and Ingrid (he was wearing her name badge) were great hosts. We had the continental breakfast, which was great value. There is a lift, so don’t worry about being on the second floor if you have luggage. We were so happy with the place, we stayed an extra night. Happy to recommend

Great service by staff at check in. Super quiet rooms with triple glazing! Car parks are just way too small, leaving very little room between vehicles to be able to open the doors properly. Rooms are very clean and well appointed with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, etc.
