This home is located in central Bend in a a modest working class neighborhood with unique homes spanning from the 1930's to modern builds. It has a friendly local vibe and neighbors keep to themselves. The vacant lot directly next-door (to the north, the "left side" as facing from the street) will be having a small home constructed starting in July of 2024". The construction is directly next door and there isn't much separation between the house. Most of our guests have not found it to be an issue, but if you re looking for guaranteed quiet during working hours, this is probably not a suitable listing for you during the Summer/Fall of 2024. Walk along the river all the way to Hayden Homes Ampitheatre for concerts. Cycle, kayak, paddle board, hike, and walk right out the door to some of the best spots in town. You can be in the river in less than 3 minutes. Walk to several breweries from the house. You’ll love the location, amenities, the outdoor space, and the comfy bed. The 7-mile paved river trail is across the street. Everything is close by. The white-water park is only a mile walk away. It's fun to watch the surfers and white-water kayakers on the waves. It's also fun to watch the hundreds of individuals float thru the rapids in the summer on float tubes.
