Riverhouse Lodge

My partner and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and we had a great experience. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the river and it was very peaceful and relaxing. I loved how close was to everything in town and feel it’s a very convenient location.

WOW! What an absolutely wonderful overnight getaway The Riverhouse Lodge is. The room without question is the most clean, comfortable and quietest I’ve ever stayed in any where. We really enjoyed the fire pit and The Deschutes River view from our private patio. Highly recommend the Apple Crumble dessert with Eberhards vanilla Ice Cream (mine with Giradelli Chocolate and hers with Caramel sauce), Delicious! Then off to the Bar room for some Billards and Table Shuffle Board…fun, fun, FUN!! The setting and the grounds are well kept and aesthetically pleasing. We took a walk through the aquatic center which boasts an indoor and outdoor pool also a hot tub and night time movies on a large screen television. Very Nice, clean and well stocked gym, steam room, sauna along with well appointed locker rooms. Breakfast at Currents was exceptional! I had the Salmon Scramble that was flavorful and plentiful, my wife had The French Toast with apples, caramel and whipped cream, also a generous serving which she said was too big… then happily polished off 🤗 A special thanks to Nicholas Armanetti The Front Office Manager who took the time to visit with us and shared many aspects, highlights and amenities of the River House Lodge . We couldn’t quite figure out the TV so we called for assistance and Travis quickly showed up got it back on line , a hero! The staff was helpful and efficient. Coming back tonight to get some of the Smoked / Bbq meats they are now cooking and carving daily out in front of Currents, surely looking forward to that! We will definitely be back on a regular basis as we reside in Bend and found The River House Lodge to be the perfect in town get away Oasis! 🤗🤗🤗 Thank so much for a wonderful time, Lisa and Hardy L.

Beautiful and family friendly hotel and accommodations. We enjoyed the support and hard work for our wedding and reception.

Hotel was great. The people that worked there were nice. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My girls were thrilled with the bunkbed room. The two negatives. I would like to throw out there for people to be aware as there’s no vending machines so make sure you come with water and whatever else you may need. The The second one is the only soap they provide is a very strong lavender and for people like me that are sensitive to that it’s kind of a bummer.

I've visited Bend several times and have stayed in several different places. This "resort" is the biggest dump in town. The TV didn't work, the internet was unstable, the pool and hallways are full of screaming children, and the overall feel of the "resort" is like that of a cruise ship because its so big. If you call reception, they hang up on you because they are so busy attending to the 1000+ other guests. No housekeeping is included, parking is limited and runs out, the shuttle gets full and you can't use it, and on top of all of this there is an 18% "resort fee" they weasle in without mention at the time of booking online despite the terrible service.

We have stayed at the Riverhouse Lodge before and will do so again! It is always great. The river views can't be beat. The hotel is clean and well-managed. We had some small issues this time with the TV not working (maintenance fixed promptly, though), the remote not working even after a battery change, and delays in getting replacement shampoo and conditioner, but those were small issues compared to the otherwise beautiful hotel, room, river, dining, front desk service, and so on. For the price, it's one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Bend or elsewhere.
